Water Pan

This dustpan sits flush to the floor! The rubber almost attaches so no crumb is getting under it. I only took off a star because the stick doesn't stay in, so I have to bend over to pick up the dustpan to empty it. This is definitely a tiny problem, but if that was why you're buying it, you may need to look elsewhere. Otherwise, highly recommend.

While the rubber is heavy it's not rigid enough to keep it from bending when trying to dump it out so it frequently has dumped the contents on the floor around the bin. Also I can confirm other reviews regarding the pole not actully screwing into the rubber even though it has threads indicating it is supposed to screw into the base. It is holding in place though, but for how long is a mystery. Honestly it's not a terrible product especially for the price. however, after using it a few times I'd much rather have the hard plastic duspans on the swivels which automatically go vertical to secure the mess at the bottom. Since this one doesn't collapse without removing the pole each time it's kind of an awkward tool that doesn't really store well in most kitchen spaces when not using it so we leave it in the garage. Overall it does what it is supposed to do, though I wouldn't want to put any volume of liquid it. That's what the mop is for though anyways so as a dustpan it'll be fine. Certainly is much better than bending over with bad knees using a classic dustpan. I'm giving it four stars instead of five because of how flimsy the is & The fact that a couple times now I've had to clean up the mess twice due to the lack of rigidity in the rubber. Other than that there was nothing misleading in the listing, and given the current absurd pricing landscape of the world it's not an awful price all things considered.

I was a bit skeptical of a rubber dustpan, but I needed a new one so I figured why not? Turns out I was very pleasantly surprised.It's stiff enough to not flop around like I had expected to happen but since it's made of rubber it's not going to break if it's stepped on or has something heavy fall on it like a plastic dustpan can.It will bend and flex so it's not going to crack or crease like a metal dustpan, and the corners aren't going to get nicked, folded, or develop sharp edges. It's also not going to rust if you sweep up liquids so it's well suited for use in a workshop or garage.

I actually do love this dustpan.

The Rubber dust pan it the answer! I have run this over in my power wheelchair and it springs back, I have swept up liquid, this has a much smaller frust line {dust left at the end of the pan} than most any other dust pan. The best part is, it stays up on its own so sweeping into the pan can be done with one hand, this is an excellent answer to buying a 20 set once a month due to smashing issues from high speed power wheelchair collisions.

This dust pan is awesome. Its edge melts against the floor and doesn't miss a speck. But the handle is a bit of a problem. It arrives in three parts which have to first pushed in and then screwed together, which is fine. But the part that goes into the dust pan does not want to stay in securely. I had to try three times to finally get it to hopefully stay in the dust pan. I will try other handles I have to see if any of them fit more securely. But the dust pan, while heavy, is the best I have ever used, and that says a lot.

This dustpan is large, made from a single piece of rubber and much heavier than I thought it would be. I purchased this for picking up dog wast on the newly laid turf in my backyard. It does a good job for that, but I had to try different types of rakes/brooms to find one that works well with this dustpan. The pan size is large enough that I can do the entire yard in one pass.Assembly was a tad confusing. There were no instruction and I did not notice that the 3 handle sections ad to be screwed in a specific order. I figured that out and fixed that quickly. However, once the handle was assembled, I tried to screw it into the dustpan, but it would not engage. It turns out that I needed to press the handle into the dustpan. Despite the fact that there are threads on the end of the handle, it does not actually screw in to the dustpan.I have not tried picking up liquid messes with this, but I think it would work just fine for that. The long handle is nice for not having to bend over, but it can be awkward for someone who is short (like me) to carry.This dustpan does not come with a broom or rake, as do most uprights, nor does it swivel up when lifted. These are not deal breakers if you know that going in.Overall a good, sturdy dustpan. It almost feels better suited for commercial operation, rather than consumer use, but the size is great for large messes. I especially like the way the front lip is soft enough to lay flat on the floor, allowing you to pick up every bit of dust.4/5. I only deducted one star for the weight and the confusing setup. Otherwise, a very nice dustpan for heavy duty work.

This is a nice, well made dust pan. But I REALLY like it because 1) it has several twist together sections that make up a 42 pole and handle, and 2) it has a ramp that allows you to capture a large amount of liquid in the recessed pan. No more bending over to hold it in place while awkwardly trying to maneuver a broom or squeegee. Its a foot wide and made of a heavy duty black rubber that should hold up well to any abuse you may give it. A definite improvement over the cheap plastic dust pan it is replacing. Highly recommended!

The packaging is great. Gave it a really high end look right from the start. The box contained three pole pieces and the rubber dustpan.The poles are aluminum and the dustpan is rubber. Its very well made my best dustpan ever. It has multiple uses built to pick up all types of debris including liquids.

This is probably the best purchase Ive made for me crew yet.. Everyone love sweeping and getting water off our floors now.. Im truly grateful this makes our job a whole lot easier..!

Good size span, ideal to clean my house.Having a rabbit as a pet, I need to be constantly cleaning and this pan makes it easier. Mainly because its bigger than the other ones I have and this one can pick water as well.Is well made and durable, a bit heavy if I have to point something I didnt like as much.For the price is useful and will buy another when need to.

- The 1st return was for the missing stick and the used appearance.- The second return was due to the fact that the stock does not screw in as expected.I really like the product so I will make a second try to get a product that assembles properly.

This is a practical long-handled dustpan by Tyroler Bright Tools that is made from a single piece of solid rubber - it has a strong smell of rubber when first unpacked and can be used for wet or dry material. The design and material used allows the dustpan to be used with most brooms and squeegees and the natural rubber seems tougher and more durable than some plastics. Currently around twenty pounds from Amazon this is a good quality product that is reasonable value for money “ if you like the design then four stars at the price.

I ordered this extra large dustpan as I have wooden laminate floors that get very dusty and when I brush them I needed a large dustpan to collect all the dust up into as my current dustpan is very small indeed.The handle and the dustpan arrive in 2 parts which are quick and easy to slot together. The dustpan area is made from black rubber and is extremely large. Im am now able to sweep up my dusty floors into this large dustpan without the dust going everywhere. This dustpan is also excellent for sweeping spills and accidents into and it is rubber so it is waterproof and as stated is extremely large.

This dust pan is great for keeping the garage floor clean! It collects dry materials swept from the floor as well as wet spills that can be pushed into the pan with a squeegee. The rubber material is very easy to rinse clean. The size of the pan is extra large which makes for more efficient clean-ups. I highly recommend it!

This is a great pan because nothing gets left behind. You can even mop up liquids with it no problem.It is quite large so you don't need to empty it too often and good for cleaning up bigger messes.It would be better if it could fold down but otherwise it is perfect for what we need it for.

The answer to the headline is order this one. This is not a normal dustpan. First the construction is really heavy duty rubber rather than the usual thin plastic. That not only makes it resistant to becoming misshapen but means that the front edge is flexible and sits easily against the floor. It was noticed that it was quite screwed up in the packaging as delivered but it opened out to correct shape straight away. There are also a couple of steel rods embedded in the pans moulding which helps to keep th base flat, front to back and side to side.In use I thought that the upright handle would be more awkward to use and keep the edge flat but as it sits flat on the floor and is quite heavy it does not really need holding. It just lays flat with the handle straight upright. I do find the handle a little awkward when emptying though and wonder if a shorter handle would be better. A minor point but couldn't really rave over everything. It is just a dustpan. Actually its not just a dustpan.Now the best bit which is the ability to pick up water. As we have not had s convenient washing machine leak or burst waste pipe (we have had both) I needed to tip some water on the kitchen floor and pick it up and it certainly works and maybe useful for small spills but I think that out of choice I would grab the mop and bucket still rather than have to sweep small quantities into the pan and then carefully pick it up and transfer it to sink or bucket without spilling. As noted, emptying is the more awkward action but the fact that the water or dirt is retained by the pan having a lip on the front does avoid accidental spillage.Overall a well made and effective product. It defiantly performs all the tasks claimed but as with many things it may be that for some tasks there are better ways.

This dustpan is great! The pan is huge and easily worked with my full-size angled broom. It has a very wide tapered lip that grips the floor and makes sweeping up even fine particles a snap. I didn't have to back it up and sweep up the tiny bits like I have had to do with other dustpans. The handle is long enough that I don't have to bend down to sweep into the dustpan, which is a life-saver on my back.The dustpan is made of rubber, so a fine layer of dust sometimes sticks to the surface, but it rinses out beautifully with just a little bit of water. I would definitely recommend this handled dustpan to anyone with back or mobility issues. It is so nice to not have to bend to sweep up messes.

This is made of rubber (not the handle of course!) & it's huge. The main pan is about twice the size pf an aberage dustpan.Its made of rubber, thus better quality & more durable than plastic.It's very good for collecting lots of water, for example in balconies that collect water.For dusting, it's difficult to empty as the pan has a dip in the middle (so the water doesn't spill back out).It's very well designed for its purpose(collecting water), with excellent materials but it's not ideal for everyday dusting but good for garden (e.g. collecting leaves etc).Manufacturer included a 2 year warranty card inside which needs activating.

I have had a chance to test this out in my flat and to be honest it is a little disappointing.Although,this pan does a good job of allowing you to sweep dry debris into the pan with a broom,it is less than effective when you try to empty the pan.The dry debris gets caught on the pan surface,where you have a raised lip.On the flip side of the coin this does better on wet spillages as it allows you to hold a fair amount of water/liquid.However,I am not completely convinced with it:this contraption requires a lot more space than a dustpan and brush and my main usage for this is collecting/sweeping dust and small particles,which as already highlighted is imperfect.Comes in at an expensive £20.My rating for this is 3 Stars.

More effective than a standard dustpan. The ramp is longer and the thin edge rests flat on surfaces so that little to no debris or liquids go under the ramp. So it is a more efficient dustpan. For cleaning spillages, this puts a normal dustpan to shame due to having a big ramp and the large size.

Went with a metal dustpan and bent it and molded it with a wooden broom stick

I was intrigued when I read that the base was rubber, and figured the lip of it would work great. It did! But...when I tapped the handle on the green waste trash can, to get all of the leaves out, it dented it! So of course, as I'm using it when I sweep outside, it started to give way each day where it was dented...compromising the integrity of the metal handle. Well...I just grabbed another handle off of another broom, and you would think that it's a universal fit right??? It's not!!!So I got to throw the whole thing away!!!What a waste!!! The base was in great condition, but unless they make you buy handles from them, which I don't know and that's pretty crappy, nothing will fit.So one big suggestion to the makers of this rubber dust pan...make the handle out of steel and not aluminum! Your customers will be more happy about it. Oh...and I would have taken a picture of it, but I chucked it in the trash because I was pissed.

Product arrived quickly, no brainer to screw together....like the all rubber thing, stands up on its own, little or no sweepings get under the tray, which is a nice size. Have not used it for liquids.

No directions for putting together, but theres only 4 pieces, so not too difficult to figure out. The handle comes in 3 pcs: you can put all together, or, if you prefer it shorter, just put top & bottom pieces together & skip the middle section. I did encounter some trouble tho in trying to screw handle into the rubber pan; it never felt secure & at one point it came out. I see in someone elses review that maybe it just œpushes in; so I will try that.That said, when pan came off the handle, I discovered a whole new use of it, as simply a huge handheld dustpan which had many uses when cleaning up in my garden area. Then, simply shake it into yard bag and its all clean.With handle in, I was able to sweep everything from leaves to fine dirt/dust in garage. When I picked it up to dump out”there was no line of dust in front, it all sweeps right in, first time. I also love that its oversized to my regular-sized broom. And even better, it will just œstand by itself while Im sweeping! I can pick up or move something else while sweeping and just brush it right into the waiting pan. Sweet!The rubber is very heavy-duty. Its not thin-plastic, so there is some heft to it. But when working outside, I like that. This dustpan will probably get passed down to my kids, lol, its so sturdy! Im thrilled with it. I dont see it replacing my cheap indoor one (that has its own uses also), but for certain messes I wldnt hesitate to grab this for indoors either. Just rinse off the thick (one solid piece) rubber and its ready to go! Im so glad to have this item in my cleaning arsenal.

I like this, a lot. I have back issues¦4 cats and a puppy which require a LOT of sweeping. This eliminates bending to sweep up fur, ripped up boxes, dog food trails, etc. its well made, and tall enough to prevent bending (Im 59). Took œlike 30 seconds to assemble, and it works well, i.e., the sweeping edge is low to the floor making cleanup easy. Its rubber, lays heavy on the floor and can be used to sweep up dry material or wet. Nice¦now I have zero excuses for not sweeping twelve times a day, lol.

Ignoring the rabbits chew toy thats its thrown about near the bin. This fits any brush like the advert says and what I like most is that the brush ban stays up right by itself so you can use your brush without it falling over. Im yet to try it on liquids, as I need the brush that matches the pan Im assuming. Ill be testing this more when I clean my rabbits bout as I always have hay everywhere. Good quality, you get what you pay for here. A big size pan makes all the difference, I wish Id seen this sooner. Ill be buying the brush when I find the correct one that goes with this soon enough. Love it.

I picked this dustpan so I could get fine dirt up like beach sand . With that being said the good thing is the rubber lip does work good . The down side is no matter how hard you push the handle into the dustpan part it keeps falling off . It is a lot heavier than other pans and more difficult to empty . I would like to find another one with this rubber type  lip but not like the rest of this one .

The only real problem I had with the Tyroler Dustpan is that because of the length of the front edge, it is helpful if it had some additional weight to help keep the edge stable. The assembly went fine however, it is rather stiff so a small female my have a problem assembling it. Other than that I am pleased with the quality and value. Just be wary of small spaces because they do mean extra large!

Its really difficult to empty completely due to a deep lip in the pan. Also the pole is really handy for collecting debris while sweeping, but its very awkward when I empty the debris.It solves the problem with sweeping and collecting debris into the pan but getting the stuff out of the pan causes another issue and some unique frustration.

I am tired of dustpan's all having a raised ridge which actually interferes with their purpose -which is the ability to remove debris from the floor! This design is almost perfect but thebase is very soft and flexible, which is why I slightly lowered my ratings. But thank you anyway.

The bottom of this dust pan is perfectly flat. Rubber virtually adheres, preventing food from falling between the cracks. The stick keeps falling out, so I have to stop and stick it back in.

This is one of a kind dustpan and well worth the money. The rubber dustpan is great and lays flush with the floor. It and it's handle seem built to last. It's larger than most household dustpans so also great for using in the workshop or garage.

Arrived in a huge box. Thought I ordered something really big. It turned out to be a dust pan. The pan is well made with strong and durable rubber. I love its extra large capacity and the design of a raised ramp to prevent things falling out. I used it to collect the dog's hair on the floor when my husband groomed my dog and collect the fallen leaves on the concrete in my garden. It makes me do my job easier and quicker.

It is easy to assemble and perfect for a work garage or barbershop. I like it but where the pole attaches it seems like it should be more secure. It hasnt come apart but I feel like its flexible. Either way its good for my needs.

I heard from many friends who have this dustpan that it makes sponging easier for them and it's indeed so! Convenient to use the dustpan and bucket next to you during washing instead of constantly sweeping water to the shower

I don't have water drainage in the apartment when I'm mopping and this saves me and doesn't limit me in the amount of water I pour on the floor, recommend!
