Nice quality broom, the rubber bristles actually feel much better than expected and do not scratch or mark like some coarse wooden bristles. It works really well on carpet also considering we have dogs, it will pull out what my vacuum cant seem to get which is fab although it doesnt get it all sadly. Im using it on wood floors and tiles mostly though with great results. Id definitely recommend.

Well I wasn't expecting it to be this good! This broom really does a brilliant job of picking up everything from hairs to fine dust. Compared to a regular broom, it picks up more, keeps it tidy and not flying around everywhere, is soft on our wood floors. I love the nice wide blade, which means minimal passes over the floor. When I first saw it, I was disappointed, as I didnt think it would be any good and I mentally assigned it to the garage; how wrong I was. It comes in pieces, but its very easy to screw everything together. The handle is good length and comfortable to hold. It is really well-made, robust and I think it will last.The brush is incredibly effective and literally attracts the dirt and the pet hair; I could see it lifting off the floor in an area that I thought was pretty clean to begin with, but obviously wasnt. I tried it on tiles, wood, concrete and carpet, and it worked well on all them, although for the carpet, it was surface dirt only. It was quicker than a normal brush too, because even just the lightest of sweeps picks the dirt up.At the time of writing this review, the cost is £19.99 and to me, its worth it.

I have a big bristly broom I use for sweeping up outside but needed one for indoors, so I thought I'd try this rubber broom from Tyroler Bright ToolsThe broom comes disassembled in a canvas zip-up storage bag. Inside are five pieces of the broom and assembly instructions, though I didn't need them as assembly was very simple. There are four pieces of shaft which screw together and then that is inserted into the broom head. The end pieces are easy to identify and you can always shorten the broom by leaving out one (or both) of the central pieces. The material is aluminium, so the broom is very lightweight, though there is a steel rod running through the head to give it some durability. The bristles at the side come out at about a 45 degree angle so the broom is pretty good at dealing with corners and tight spaces.I have wooden floors downstairs, so because the broom bristles are rubber, I don't have to worry about scratching anything. The broom is equally effective on my kitchen tiles as it is on the wooden floor and easily picks up the accumulated dust and cat fluff. It's not bad on carpets too, more than I expected it would be, though I still prefer to vacuum those.I was worried that the head would pop off but it has stayed tightly attached. While the broom can be disassembled and stored away after use, I'm happy to leave it propped up against the kitchen wall, it doesn't take up much space.Overall I am very happy with this broom. At the time of this review this rubber broom is £23.99. I was really excited to use this as with 3 chihuahuas the hair gets every where. The broom handle is ok but doesnt feel super sturdy, infact i worried if i pressed down too hard it might snap. The rubbed head had great potential but it just didnt clean as much as i had thought it would, i used more energy going over the one area about 10 times than i would have if i had got the hoover out. Overall great potential but really not worth the energy. It was ok on hard wood flooring though.

I like it for sweeping our carpeted stairs as it saves hauling the vacuum cleaner up and down, and is great for removing hair and dust - the length of the brush means that a couple of sweeps covers each stair unlike the smaller brush I used before.It works on hard flooring too, and as it is rubber can even be used to sweep up the bulk of water spills which only then need to be finished off with a dry cloth.Good long handle if you use all the pieces and can be easily unscrewed if preferred for storage. Seems robust enough to be in use for a long time.

My revised comments below:The brush worked well at picking things up from the carpet that my vacuum cleaner really struggled with. However, it did take a lot of manual effort.Im not sure if the issue was down to design or a flaw with the particular brush I received, but the brush head would gradually work its way off the pole and need to be re-attached. As well as it worked, this became quite frustrating and I havent used the brush since.I personally put this down to a design issue and felt it would be better if the head screwed or clipped on like a more conventional brush. However, I didnt give the manufacturer a chance to look at it to confirm whether the problem I was having was unusual.Something that isnt totally clear from the listing is that the brush is collapsible and can be packed into a small bag. I also didn't really see the benefit of this, as I bought it with space to store a brush. After hoovering my rug I decided to test out this brush and it go so much more dog hair and dust up! This rubber broom arrives in a canvas bag and inside youll find the handles in their own bag and the broom head. Assembling the broom is simple enough as the handle comes in four sections which are simply screwed together to form the handle. This is then pushed into the broom section until its secure. There is no screw fitment to properly secure the broom handle into the broom, it is held in place by the depth of the handle and the tight grip of the rubber. It doesnt sound too secure, but it works extremely well and feels firmly fixed when in use. When assembled, it does have a little weight to it due to the rubber broom but is easy to manoeuvre around and place into position where needed. The rubber strips are extremely flexible and can easily be moved with a light touch. There is a flat, rubber blade behind the strips and this helps collect dust and debris the bristles missed. Using the broom was really easy even though it grips the carpet a little as you move it along it. My carpet was vacuumed the day before and it was still collecting hair, dirt, and little bits that the vacuum had missed. The carpet looked clean before I started using this and it still found a handful of dirt from a 2m2 area. Once it found that amount in a small area, I had to carry on and do the whole room. The hair and stuff didnt stick to the bristles, but was pushed into a neat pile, so I didnt have to start pulling hair out of the broom. In conclusion, Im very impressed with this as I didnt think it would be very good. I was completely wrong. This was fetching out dirt from my carpet that I didnt think was there. It pulled it into a neat little pile where I could pick up all the collected hair and then finish of with the vacuum to get rid of the loosened pile of debris. I could have used the brush and brush it into a dustpan, but it was easier to grab the electric hoover to finish the job. This has really surprised me and if you want to make sure youve got all the hair out of the carpet before you vacuum, to stop it collecting around your vacuum head, then this is what you need¦

There isnt really much negative to say about this broom, its that good! The steel handle is very sturdy so I have no concerns about it snapping. It dismantles into 4 parts, and I split it in 2 in order to store it in a cupboard.The silicone bristles and flat blade are great quality and effortlessly pick up all manner of dirt and dust on all surfaces. Ive mainly been using it on laminate flooring and its a lot more efficient than vacuuming.Because of the entirely silicone brush head, you need to pull the broom towards you when sweeping, instead of pushing it away. If you try the latter, to holder that the handle fits into folds in on itself. Im not used to using brooms like this so it took a bit of adjusting, but it works all the better for it.If you want a great, all purpose cleaning broom this is definitely worth the money!

After putting the pole together which only took a few seconds I tried this brush straight away. The handle is nice and long, it is just under 5 foot tall. I found that you only need to lightly use this broom and it works well with that to pick up hair. I have a border collie with a lot of white, his hair is crazy, why he isnt bald by now I dont know. One of the big differences is I dont have to keep untangling hair from the bristles plus it doesnt send the swept-up bits flying. Sometimes I like to give a quick clean up late at night, my neighbours wouldnt appreciate me vacuuming at that time, so this is perfect. It doesnt clean the same as a vacuum, no brush would but it does lift the majority of hair from the carpet and not leave me having to face it full on in the morning. I even got my partner to give it a try on me before I went out lol, it did remove most of the dog hair.In conclusion I think it is best for hard floors, but it does do a good job of removing surface hair on carpet. It isnt designed to deep sweep a carpet. Great not having to put weight into it.

This is a well made rubber brush that really works well. Arrived well packed with good easy to understand instructions. The brush handle comes in four parts. Again easly assembled. The brush stands 5ft tall. Leaving out one of the sections would reduce the height and so easier to use for someone less tall than myself I am 5ft 11.In use......this broom is excellent on hard surfaces collecting all the rubbish well. Works just as good on a carpet. Overall so very pleased.

crikey getting the head on the handle is a job and a half. The end of the handle that fits in the head has a screw end on it but the head for this set has to be pushed on. It's a rubber threaded end on the handle and a rubber socket on the head and that's not a good combination when one has to be pushed into the other. It took us ages, and my son is a big bloke with a bit of oomph behind him. I think the head should have a screw socket really.Anyway, once we'd won the battle, I tried the broom and think it's really good. It got a lot of my cat's hair out of my carpet and I was pleased about that. I had achieved similar results by using a rubber bladed window squeegee on the carpet but this is easier to use as I didn't have to kneel down to use this. I haven't got any hard floors in my home so don't know what this is like on those but I'm pleased with this on my carpets. It's very good.

I'm a hairstylist and have kept meaning to buy one of these brushes for years, but I keep forgetting until I cut another client at home and remember, damn, I still didn't buy a rubber broom! Well, I finally have one, and yes, it totally lives up to all my wild dreams...No, but seriously, I have really needed one of these for ages, I used them at work and they're amazing at sweeping. I have hardwood floors, a dog and a cat and as mentioned, cut hair regularly at home. This sweeps all that hair up, even the stuff you can't see, and gets all the dust and dirt left from my dog and cat's paws really really well. The handle comes in four pieces, so you can make it as long or short as you like really. At its longest, it's a good size for me and I'm 5' 8. The end is a good, solid rubber that looks like it will take a good beating, so longevity should be fine.I know these are much more common in salons etc. but I seriously don't know why you don't see these more often in regular homes, they're absolutely the best for sweeping up and do a much better job than any regular old broom can do. Don't even hesitate, rubber brooms are great and this one is good!

Collapsable design allows for easy storage in the included bag for those short on space, breaking down into four neat pieces. The bristles are soft yet sturdy, allowing for good pickup on hard floors and carpets, though for carpets I would still recommend a good vacuum cleaner. The flat bale design at the rear works well for water and finer dust on hard floors, acting almost like a squeegee. Thanks to the rubber head, you can also keep it relatively clean compared to normal brush heads as the debris washes off well.Used briefly outside and it did well but would recommend for indoor use only.

This rubber broom requires minimal assembly but nothing complicated.I have two long haired cats and their hair gets absolutely everywhere, which is why I hoover several times a day. This broom attracted the dust and hair really well. I used this broom on wooden floors, carpets, rugs and concrete - the brush and was surprised with how effective it was. I did have to go over the same area on rugs/carpets several times though.Theres a handy storage bag included too.

The Tyroler Bright Tools 2022 100 % Rubber Broom was supplied in a branded canvas pouch, as a three piece self assembly handle and separate broom head. This is the first time I have seen a broom with silicone bristles instead of the usual polyester/nylon or natural hog/badger hair bristle. After assembly you are presented with a lightweight broom which has silicone rubber bristles and a flat blade for trapping any particles missed by the bristles.In use it skims over tiled, wood, laminate or vinyl floors with ease, and the bristles pick up all the small particles of hair, dust that a normal brush would miss. The results were excellent, the floor was probably as clean as when suing a vacuum cleaner. I was unsure about using this on the carpet, but gave it a whirl anyway, and was astonished that it managed to dredge up so much dog and human hair from an area I had inspected just as short time before tacking it and not observed.This is a bit of a revelation, does a great job on smooth floors and works just as well if not better - on carpets, though I am loath to use it outside as the description on the items page suggests, so inside only in this abode. I do have a reservation about the durability as the handle did bend a little when pressure was applied and I've docked a star for that.

After all the years I've been fighting clumps of hair and dust that get stuck between the bristles of a regular broom, I finally found one like this that doesn't need to be cleaned after every use, for me this is a huge plus regardless of the fact that it sweeps much better
