Lightweight Rubber Broom

I was surprised of the small size of the package, but its just that the stick came in parts and required assembly. Took 30 seconds to assemble and afterwards you can get to work. Did a very good job on multiple surfaces.

I have a big bristly broom I use for sweeping up outside but needed one for indoors, so I thought I'd try this rubber broom from Tyroler Bright ToolsThe broom comes disassembled in a canvas zip-up storage bag. Inside are five pieces of the broom and assembly instructions, though I didn't need them as assembly was very simple. There are four pieces of shaft which screw together and then that is inserted into the broom head. The end pieces are easy to identify and you can always shorten the broom by leaving out one (or both) of the central pieces. The material is aluminium, so the broom is very lightweight, though there is a steel rod running through the head to give it some durability. The bristles at the side come out at about a 45 degree angle so the broom is pretty good at dealing with corners and tight spaces.I have wooden floors downstairs, so because the broom bristles are rubber, I don't have to worry about scratching anything. The broom is equally effective on my kitchen tiles as it is on the wooden floor and easily picks up the accumulated dust and cat fluff. It's not bad on carpets too, more than I expected it would be, though I still prefer to vacuum those.I was worried that the head would pop off but it has stayed tightly attached. While the broom can be disassembled and stored away after use, I'm happy to leave it propped up against the kitchen wall, it doesn't take up much space.Overall I am very happy with this broom. It's lightweight, comfortable to use, far more effective at picking up dust and hair off the floor than I was expecting it to be and it's easy to keep clean.

This rubber broom is great! I have a cat and his hair & litter gets everywhere in the house¦I tried this broom on a floor/carpet and its very sturdy and works great. It looks smaller compared to other brooms I had in the past, but that doesnt effect the results and is good for storage. My partner likes it too!

Just look at that ball of hair! This is my first time coming across a brush like this and with much anticipation, this has fully lived up to the promise. Without much effort, I was finally able to transform my old dusty carpets into a cleaner shade.The brush is made unique by the fact this uses silicone bristles. I have only seen small pet brushes adopt this feature so with much sense this strives to deliver the same effect on a large scale. I was still sceptical, the brush arrives disassembled and once fitted, feels extremely lightweight. The silicone bristles are fortunately lengthy in terms of width and height, giving the brush a sweeping surface area.I went to work around the house, sweeping away at almost every floor surface, tile, wood and carpet, with phenomenal results. The silicone bristles are undoubtedly the softest, smoothest sweeping material compared to the usual, prickly frazzled household brush. The brush just glides over tile and vinyl wood surfaces with ease while still picking up small dust and hair in the thick, compact bristles. The results were amazingly better on the carpet. I spent several minutes sweeping into my carpeted floor and just look, a ball of dust and hair coalesced and left my carpet looking almost new. These hairs in carpet had been so well trapped in the carpet no amount of hovering has worked. Yet, this manual silicone brush has successfully removed all this with little effort.In all, if I dare say this silicone brush is the newest and best brush option around. Finally, no more hair and dust cycling through brushes and surfaces. The silicone bristles work smoothly across polished surfaces while as effectively tackling dust carpets. The thick silicone bristles help to lift hair and just without trapping all the mess into it's surface.

Ive been looking for a proper broom for my kitchen floor. I was only able to find ones made out of cheap materials and not something reliable until I came across this broom.To my surprise, the rubber is actually very pleasant to work with and the broom seem to be able to pick most things up from my kitchen floor.The handle can be dismantled to 4 pieces, which makes it efficient for storage.

After hoovering my rug I decided to test out this brush and it go so much more dog hair and dust up! I was amazed, the rubber bristles did their magic and I use it every other day now, its really lightweight and can collapse down into its included bag which is handy if taking to a holiday home like a caravan as I did, really handy and I highly recommend!

This rubber broom arrives in a canvas bag and inside youll find the handles in their own bag and the broom head. Assembling the broom is simple enough as the handle comes in four sections which are simply screwed together to form the handle. This is then pushed into the broom section until its secure. There is no screw fitment to properly secure the broom handle into the broom, it is held in place by the depth of the handle and the tight grip of the rubber. It doesnt sound too secure, but it works extremely well and feels firmly fixed when in use. When assembled, it does have a little weight to it due to the rubber broom but is easy to manoeuvre around and place into position where needed. The rubber strips are extremely flexible and can easily be moved with a light touch. There is a flat, rubber blade behind the strips and this helps collect dust and debris the bristles missed. Using the broom was really easy even though it grips the carpet a little as you move it along it. My carpet was vacuumed the day before and it was still collecting hair, dirt, and little bits that the vacuum had missed. The carpet looked clean before I started using this and it still found a handful of dirt from a 2m2 area. Once it found that amount in a small area, I had to carry on and do the whole room. The hair and stuff didnt stick to the bristles, but was pushed into a neat pile, so I didnt have to start pulling hair out of the broom. In conclusion, Im very impressed with this as I didnt think it would be very good. I was completely wrong. This was fetching out dirt from my carpet that I didnt think was there. It pulled it into a neat little pile where I could pick up all the collected hair and then finish of with the vacuum to get rid of the loosened pile of debris. I could have used the brush and brush it into a dustpan, but it was easier to grab the electric hoover to finish the job. This has really surprised me and if you want to make sure youve got all the hair out of the carpet before you vacuum, to stop it collecting around your vacuum head, then this is what you need¦

After putting the pole together which only took a few seconds I tried this brush straight away. The handle is nice and long, it is just under 5 foot tall. I found that you only need to lightly use this broom and it works well with that to pick up hair. I have a border collie with a lot of white, his hair is crazy, why he isnt bald by now I dont know. One of the big differences is I dont have to keep untangling hair from the bristles plus it doesnt send the swept-up bits flying. Sometimes I like to give a quick clean up late at night, my neighbours wouldnt appreciate me vacuuming at that time, so this is perfect. It doesnt clean the same as a vacuum, no brush would but it does lift the majority of hair from the carpet and not leave me having to face it full on in the morning. I even got my partner to give it a try on me before I went out lol, it did remove most of the dog hair.In conclusion I think it is best for hard floors, but it does do a good job of removing surface hair on carpet. It isnt designed to deep sweep a carpet. Great not having to put weight into it.

Excellent lightweight floor broom that can be used on a variety of surfaces.Decent length at 140cm, good for those who are taller and normally have to bend to sweep. Collapsable design allows for easy storage in the included bag for those short on space, breaking down into four neat pieces. The bristles are soft yet sturdy, allowing for good pickup on hard floors and carpets, though for carpets I would still recommend a good vacuum cleaner. The flat bale design at the rear works well for water and finer dust on hard floors, acting almost like a squeegee. Thanks to the rubber head, you can also keep it relatively clean compared to normal brush heads as the debris washes off well.Used briefly outside and it did well but would recommend for indoor use only.

This is a great fur broom, I have taken some of the pieces out at times to use it as a shorter handle.It is good if you have used this kind of broom/brush before you will know what to expect.What I would say is I can't quite get the firmness on the carpet that I've done with other brushes or brooms in the past, but then they also didn't have the dust catching element and the other design features of this one.Overall, I like having a broom of this kind around the place - and being able to dismantle it and pop it in the supplied bag is handy.One criticism would be I found it a little difficult to get the first piece into the holder for the brush - now that might be something I am doing wrong, it seems you need to twist it. It is a tight fit (Which is good of course) - and the manner it works seems to suggest it won't be party to the potential plastic breaking that others can suffer when screwing pieces together.It is also lightweight and quite easy to use even on carpet.I feel on balance at £19.99 it is worthy of five stars.I hope you found this review helpful­­­­­ðŸ‘

The Tyroler Bright Tools 2022 ” 100 % Rubber Broom was supplied in a branded canvas pouch, as a three piece self assembly handle and separate broom head. This is the first time I have seen a broom with silicone bristles instead of the usual polyester/nylon or natural hog/badger hair bristle. After assembly you are presented with a lightweight broom which has silicone rubber bristles and a flat blade for trapping any particles missed by the bristles.In use it skims over tiled, wood, laminate or vinyl floors with ease, and the bristles pick up all the small particles of hair, dust that a normal brush would miss. The results were excellent, the floor was probably as clean as when suing a vacuum cleaner. I was unsure about using this on the carpet, but gave it a whirl anyway, and was astonished that it managed to dredge up so much dog and human hair from an area I had inspected just as short time before tacking it and not observed.This is a bit of a revelation, does a great job on smooth floors and works just as well “ if not better - on carpets, though I am loath to use it outside as the description on the items page suggests, so inside only in this abode. I do have a reservation about the durability as the handle did bend a little when pressure was applied and I've docked a star for that.
