Magnetic Limescale Buster
I really wasn't sure what to think when this thing arrived. We have super hard water and it builds up on our dishes so they never look clean. I have tried this for about a week and it has made a significant difference in the build up not only on the dishes but inside the dishwasher as well. I don't know how long it will keep working, but I would get another one if needed.

    Our washing machine is barely new and I always make sure that it stays toptip my doing regular maintenance cleaning cycle. This is the first time I heard of this magnetic ball so I thought I would try as I am having issues of not smelling the scent of the fabric conditioner on my wash if I dont use twice the suggested dose. This is very heavy and really makes the cycle really noisy. I now have to place it in a laundry bra mesh bag to silence it a little. I have been putting half of my usual doses for detergent and fabric conditioner in my wash since this arrived and I can confirm that it actually work as my wash really smells nice. I just hate the banging noise it makes.

    Never have I ever owned a product to assist my washing machine like this one, and this I'm still in the process of trying to work it out all that it does, and it does something.Well, it's heavy, much heavier than I expected it to be, and to be honest, I don't know what I was expecting.Just to mention that we live in north of England and our area has harder water, so, fingers crossed this does the trick and softens our clothes.I'd presume it would not be suitable for less than a half size load in your washing machine as it might damage the drum flying about like a fist size rock.There is definitely something inside this buster as just rubber wouldn't weigh so much nor would be so sturdy on it's own, so I guess magnet on inside, rubber on the outside.Before anythinf else or start, I've washed this product with soap, packaging isn't airtight and you don't really want to put random stuff with your clothes, regardless if they are dirty.I did my first clothes washing by filling up the drum 3/4 with adding this buster bang in the middle of it all.An occasional 'thud' was noticed when washing macine would be getting ready for a spin here and there, nothing that would damage anything.I've also added less detergent and water softener to see if that will work as mentioned on the box of this buster item.Verdict:Clothes came out soft as they would if I added the usual amount of both detergent + softener. Smell of our clothes is surprisingly good, and on touch they don't feel hard.NOTE:One slightly negative thing is that washed clothes give out a little bit of rubbery odour! Maybe or hopefully that won't continue after 2nd or 3rd wash.In regards to does it prevent or reduce limescale?! Only time will tell and I'll make sure to pop back here to edit/add that to this review and maybe increase or decrease the rating.As for now, I recommend this product.
