I've never used rubber bristles broom before so I did not know what to expect. But what an amazing broom this is on hardwood floor! It picks up all the dust, hair, debris, etc on hardwood. It's super easy to assemble and comes with a bag if you want to store it away in between uses. It's lightweight and the knuckle joint makes it easy to swivel and reach corners and hard to reach places. Because the bristles are made of rubber, there's no issue with rinsing or washing with water. I tried it on carpet but didn't see the same amazing effect as on hardwood so not sure if it's just me needing some practice on carpet or what. I highly recommend this for hardwood floor!

This broom was as described. It does well on hardwood floors but doesn't do much on carpets. It did grab some dog hair from low pile rugs after continuously sweeping the same spot, but is not enough alone. The hair doesn't seem to get caught in the broom, but it does get stuck on top or the sides a little. We have a self cleaning dustpan that also works well with this broom. It would be nice if this set came with a dustpan of its own though.

I was super impressed with this broom. It handles well and manages to pick up every bit of dirt on the floor. I have dogs, and they shed a lot. This broom nicely swept up the hairs, without the hair getting stuck in the bristles. The flat head allows cleaning under furniture and in hard to reach places. I had a bit of trouble assembling it, but it was well worth the effort.

I was quite skeptical when I first saw a broom brush made with silicon material. However, I gotta say it completely blew my mind after using it for a week. The Tyroler Japanese Broom was delivered in a smaller than usual box which I was quite surprised. The assembly process was easy thanks to its clear and intuitive instruction sheet. It is light and easy to maneuver overall which is making the chore a lot more enjoyable than my old school broom.

This broom was just what I needed really. I had never used a rubber broom prior to this but the concept made sense and worked perfectly. I have dark coloured composite flooring for almost my entire apartment and my white cat's hair sheds very easily so I'm constantly trying to stay on top of it. The rubber bristles of this brush cling to every piece of hair so there is a lot less kick-up compared to a regular broom that will often send the hair flying before I can collect it all in a pan.The broom feels very sturdy in my grip despite being assembled from several pieces, and a quick run under the sink will clean off any excess hair/dirt when you're done. All in all it's made cleaning up cat hair on my hard floors a breeze, and the low height of the broom head is especially helpful for getting under my couches and other deep furniture.

This is a review of the Tyroler Bright Tools Japanese Broom. I have to be honest and say that I dont really get this product. Its an indoor broom with a small/compact head that has thick rubber bristles instead of the soft nylon ˜hairs I am used to on my previous indoor brooms. I know Japanese houses are small, so maybe the size of the head is more suited to that environment. It does make it easier to get between the chair and table legs and sweep out the crumbs in our kitchen, but its no more effective at picking them up than my ordinary broom. I did try it on carpets (not something I would ordinarily do), and yes it drags up hairs from out of the pile, but it certainly is not better at it than our Dyson vacuum. So for me, this is just a more compact-headed indoor broom that makes it easier to get into small spaces when cleaning hard floors.

I uploaded before and after pics of area carpets at our doors. As you can see this broom did a very good job of removing the pethair and leaf debris. It was easy to use although a little strange looking. This broom actually did a better job on the cross-ribbed mat than my shark vac. It works okay on hardwood too.The broom comes in sections and you twist it together easily, if you are on the short side, you could leave a section out and still be able to use it. It is light and doesn't put a strain on your arms or back when using.

This Japanese rubber broom has been a game-changer for tackling dog hair on my carpets. It sweeps up the hair so much better than a regular broom, especially with my corgi shedding everywhere. Ive found that lightly spraying the carpet with water from a spray bottle before sweeping helps pull even more hair out - its like a little trick to make the broom work even better! The rubber bristles grab onto everything, making it easy to clean up stubborn hair. Its been a lifesaver for keeping my carpets fur-free.

These rubber bristled brooms are an almost universal cleaning tool. They work great on floors and will lift the gnarliest gunk when you need to.They work great for outdoors for snow on steps in the winter to mud dried from dirty boots. These brooms will get it all and do it with ease.I also use one to deshed my living room carpet which has a large Akita rolling around on it frequently leaving it looking like a spilled hay bail but this broom scraped it all together and gets it out of the fibres.Amazing.This model is solid and well made with good bristles and a solid dust pan.Very, very highly recommended.

I was considering a few options on this style of broom. I am so glad I chose this one, it's perfect for small apartments and can reach tight spots! I wouldn't choose this if you intend to clean a larger space, I'd go for a bigger size. It works so amazingly for pet hair, the hair just floats towards it and the dustpan too. Easily rinsable after cleaning! Let's hope it holds up, so far love it! I tried it on a high pile rug and it did okay but works great on floors and low pile.

The rubber is nice quality, and it comes with a rubber dust pan. I can't find a way to store the dust man on the broom, like a normal one snaps onto the shaft. The rubber bristles are very soft, and there is a firmer squeegie. It works well for general sweeping but it wasn't too helpful for my carpet with lots of pet fur.

The Tyroler Japanese broom is a standout tool for efficient and effective cleaning. Crafted from 100% silicone, the brooms bristles are highly effective at catching dust, hair, and lint. The 30cm swiveling head allows for flexible movement, making it easy to clean corners and hard-to-reach areas with precision. The 140cm anti-rust handle is both sturdy and lightweight, providing a comfortable grip while ensuring durability. This handle length minimizes the need for bending, enhancing ease of use during extended cleaning sessions. The broom's dust-catching system is particularly impressive, capturing fine particles that traditional brooms might miss. Overall, the Tyroler Japanese broom combines innovative design with practical functionality, making it an excellent choice for maintaining a clean and tidy space.

I recently ordered the Tyroler Japanese Broom & Dustpan Set and I am impressed with its quality. The materials used are of top-notch quality and I was particularly drawn to its stand-up design and use of 100% natural rubber, which makes it durable and easy to use for both indoor and outdoor cleaning tasks. One of the features that I noticed right away is that the natural rubber bristles create a static charge which effectively attracts dust, hair, and lint. I was also impressed by the broom's ability to clean along walls without leaving any marks, thanks to the outward-bent side bristles. The dustpan works really well with the broom, too. It has a built-in dust capture system that collects fine particles like sand and dust that the bristles might miss. Overall, I am really satisfied with my purchase. The set has a thoughtful design and effective cleaning capabilities that make cleaning tasks more manageable.

The Tyroler Japanese broom and dustpan set is easy to use, durable and effective. The set comes in a small box with all components securely packaged. Everything can be assembled quickly by attaching the four tubes securely into place. The broom and dustpan are lightweight and easy to hold. I like the bright green colour. It's well well-sized broom that's pretty effective. It can be used on any hard floors, indoors as well as outdoors. The broom efficiently sweeps up dirt and debris without leaving anything behind. The rubber bristles are flexible and able to get into tight spaces, making it easy to clean corners and edges. The dustpan is also well-designed and complements the broom nicely. It is a good size and shape to catch debris as you sweep it inside. It has a low lip so it captures everything that's swept inside. The handle of the dustpan is comfortable to hold, but you do have to bend it to use it. Overall, this is a practical and durable broom set that's well worth getting. Full marks from me!

I was really curious about the efficacy of this broom. Ive found it works well for dry items, like dog hair and rice and that kind of thing. It doesnt work so well for wetter or more floppy things, liked cooked noodles on the floor. I dont think its remarkably better than a regular broom but I do like that it swivels on what it calls a knuckle joint, so its easy to get into corners and tough to reach places. Its also very light weight and easy to hang when not in use just using a command strip hook. It was also easy to put together but make sure you put the right pieces in each section or else it wont stay together. Ill definitely use this and keep it in my pantry.

This broom and dust pan its very expensive i would say. But i'm so impressed with them. Was very easy to put together and it brings a nice zip bag with it.When it comes to what makes this broom different than the other ordinary ones its def the fact that there's no hairs or dust that get stuck to the broom itself and while swiping the floor there's no dust in the air as it removes dust like a vacuum cleaner. simply pull it in to the dust pan. Its very effective. i Recommend.

Quite an interesting Broom. I was pleased that it gets under the furniture where my vacuum or regular Broom can not go and yes it does as can be seen in the video. It's alot easier than crawling around to reach. With the static created dust and hair gathers quickly. It also excelled picking up the hair on the cats cushion.Overall works well. I'm just not sure on the swivel aspect , I believe being stationary would work better for my needs.

PROS:* Very good build material.* Handle is made of rust resistant aluminum.* Assembly and disassembly is easy.* Broom handle can be assembled to several lengths, the longest being nice and far reaching.* The collection pan is conveniently attached at the handle, opposite end to the sweeper. See attached image.* If needed, the broom can be disassembled into a compact bundle and placed into the included fabric bag.* The broom can also hide in a tight space or corner without clumsily taking up floor real estate.* It appears real rubber is used in the construction of the sweeper and the collection pan.* The sweeper appears to attract all indoor floor debris. This could be a function of the sweeper blade/bristle design and the material being rubber for improved electrostatic properties.* The sweeper and pan are easily cleaned by rinsing under water.* The sweeper is mounted on a pivot which allows it getting low-to-the-floor under objects like furniture.* The sweeper is very easy and lightweight to navigate.* Appear quite effective at teasing hair out of rugs.* The pan has a center rib improving the less likelihood of collected debris moving around in the pan.* The pan appears to make a decent seal with flat surfaces and debris effectively moved in by the sweeper blade leaving little behind.* Although not confirmed, the sweeper might support some limited squeegee jobs due to the rubber flat edge.* Contact email and website support information is included in the product packaging.* A registered product activates a two year warranty.CONS:* No instructions on suggested best method of use or techniques.* Since the key components are rubber, they moderately off-gas.* The rubber will likely be sensitive to UV sunlight exposure and could age prematurely. This is something to perhaps to consider.* Outdoor and garage use may accelerate the wear and tear on the broom.* The pan takes a bit getting used to as it feels wobbly being rubber.* The sweeper pivot may move in unexpected ways that might feel awkward. This might be something to get used to.* The manufacturer's website (https://tyrolerltd.com/) indicates that the dustpan is made of 100% silicone, but later states it is made of natural rubber. This is not a consistent statement as the two materials are not the same. ... This dustpan is made using a single piece of 100% silicone ... versus ... Being the only dustpan made using a single piece of natural rubber ... is confusing. The dustpan smells like rubber.NOTE:* Although is performs well, it might be worthy to note the product's physical weak point might be the sweeper pivot. Be aware to not put unreasonable force on the sweeper.SUMMARY:This broom-pan set gets a clean-up job done quickly, with less effort, less dust-up, easy rinse cleaning and stowaway. As long as the rubber does not deteriorate due to the environment, the product should provide long reliable service.

I am not a big fan of the silicone trend for floor mats, cutting boards, kitchen utensils, etc. however I did try a toilet brush with rubber bristles which I particularly like since it was so easy to clean (you can put it in the dishwasher!) and it keeps its shape over time. As such, I was eager to try this rubber broom. The product arrived the next day via Amazon Prime and was packaged in a simple black cloth bag.PROS-While there is some assembly required, the broom handle segments screw together easily and you can be up and sweeping your place within minutes :)-The fact that you can screw and unscrew the handle means that you could shorten the broom if trying to get into smaller spaces, and that this product may be particularly week suited to travel as it could easily be stored in your trunk or carried in a backpack on public transportation.-The broom is made of decent quality materials; the handle has a metallic sheen and is more comfortable to grip than wood or cheap plastic ones from the dollar store. The silicone bristles feel pliable but durable.-The rubber broom head actually sweeps well and I tried it on my hardwood floors, the ceramic tile bathroom floor, and the linoleum kitchen floor. It was able to collect together a surprising amount of dust, lint, hair, crumbs, etc.-The rubber dustpan is easily my favourite part and it enough thickness and firmness to easily scoop up debris. Most importantly, it seems so much more durable than the cheap plastic dustpans which can chip, crack, break if you accidently drop them or step on them. To be completely honest, I'd get this set just for the dustpan!-I like that you can easily rinse the broom out afterwards should you wish.CONS-The broom head is surprisingly small. I have a broom head that is twice as wide and several times thicker. While broom's head allows you to get into smaller spaces and is lighter for greater control, the tradeoff is that it takes me a bit longer to go over larger surface areas.-I find that this broom collects dust and dirt better than a traditional broom, however, it cannot sweep the cracks between my floorboards as easily.-I also find that this broom is better at sweeping some surfaces than others. For instance, I noticed the rubber gets scuffed up more when sweeping stone tiles or the cement walkway outside, so depending on your surfaces, this broom may have durability issues.-I like the colour of this broom but it would be nice if it were available in other colours and broom head shapes/sizes.Overall, this broom features a segmented handle and rubber head that's particularly good at gathering up anything on your floors. To me this is not an all-purpose brooom as performance may be better on some surfaces than others and personally I think it is best for any place I would want to use a Swiffer Wet Jet afterwards. I love the durable dustpan which makes the 35 CAD that much more reasonable, I think most people will find its performance satisfactory and you I like that you can try the product without breaking the bank despite the fact that considerably cheaper alternatives are available from the dollar store.

comes flatpacked in 6 peices, 4 poles easy to distinguish the end pole thanks to unique threading the other three don't posess.4 poles, broom and pan.The broom bristles are rubber materiel and the dustpan is made of the same type of material. I find this brush grabs stuff other brooms do not. The brush itself is smaller than I expected but is perfect for the dustpan. The dustpan has grooves in it to suggest it clips to the handle of the broom but I have yet to determine how to do this.Never been so pleased about a broom in my life.

The Tyroler Broom worked great on our hardwood floors to collect the dog hair and debris our dogs bring in. The rubber bristles glide easily over hard surface floors, collecting hair and dirt, and the flared side bristles do a good job of getting items that are against the wall or in corners. The broom comes with a storage bag, dustpan, and the broom itself is easy to assemble by just screwing the four sections together. The broom handle is sturdy metal construction, and the broom head is on a pivot to help move around objects and get in to tight spaces. The rubberized dustpan does a good job of collecting and holding the hair and dirt. The only problem is that the dustpan is rubber, so hair and dirt stick to it. The broom and dustpan are rubber, so they rinse off under water for easy cleaning.I tested the broom on different carpet heights, and it worked well in collecting hair on the berber carpet. The broom did not work at all on the high-pile carpet.

This brush is very easy to put together and does a great job of sweeping up hard floors. It will sweep up dust without any problem, and is very thin, meaning that it will get under places that other brushes wont (I found it really useful in the vent at the bottom of our radiator covers). The dustpan is a really useful shape and size, with it going almost flush to the floor for effective removal of the dust. The brush comes in five parts - the brush head and four pieces of the handle. It is very easy to put together, and can be stored either constructed, or in pieces (it comes in a fabric bag for storage if you dont room to store a tall item). My only hesitation in giving it full marks is that the brush head swivels a little too easily, making it difficult to brush against a wall - as soon as it reaches any resistance, it turns.

I used this broom on my carpet after I had vacuumed it and was surprised how much pet hair it found. The silicone bristles seemed to attract the hair and dirt really well. It was odd to use a broom with a flat panel before the bristles but it did seem to be quite effectiveIt worked the same on my hard floors to and was able to fit underneath some areas where my regular broom did not fit. The handle is in 4 parts that twist together easily and provide a good sweeping length.Really good quality broom but with quite a high price tag

This broom dustpan set is quite a neat design, it comes in quite a small box as the broom handle is in 4 sections which you screw together and then screw into broom head, when assembled its quite long which being tall I appreciate though you could leave one or more section out if you wanted to make it smaller. The head is hinged and at first I thought that would cause it to not brush efficiently but I was wrong it really does work well, the bristles are made of rubber which is great as it means stuff doesn't stick to it, I tried it outside brushing up some wet leaves and it did the job easily (my normal brush ends up clogged with the wet leaves) the dustpan is also made of flexible rubber and works great at collecting the rubbish as the front edge is angled down slightly. The handle has a slot along its length and a hole which I thought might be to slot on the broom handle for storage some how but I couldn't get that to work. The hinged head of the broom also allows you to get into hard to reach places under things and also as its very slim in between areas that a normal broom wouldn't fit.I really like this set and think the design is very clever and very useful and gets a recommended from me.

This steel and rubber broom caught my eye although I wasn't looking for one. The long handle was definitely an attraction as our current indoor broom is short and back breaking. When the broom arrived it certainly didn't disappoint. It is well made of rubber and steel and easy to assemble. The handle comes in four sections that just get screwed together.I tested it straight away on our oak floor as there was a little visible debris lurking under the dining table.Because the broom head is so narrow it got right into the corners and the side bristles reached under the main table stretcher. What really surprised me is the amount dust it collected from parts of the floor that didn't even look dirty or dusty. It's going to be really useful for a quick quiet sweep when I don't want to disturb anyone with the sound of a vacuum cleaner.I like the red colour too, and the broom can be dismantled easily and stored away in the supplied zipped woven material bag.

This is a quality well made product. It is easy to put together and consists of a 4 part steel handle and a brush head. If necessary it can be taken apart and stored in the supplied fabric bag.I have not used a broom with rubber bristles before and was surprised at how efficient it is. The dust pan is effective as it has a very thin lip which enables most of the dust and debris to be deposited with one sweep.

Our dustpan set had seen better days but this is a much fancier set it even arrives with its own bag. I like the rubber material at first it seems to be an odd choice. But just like I suspected its so much easy to wipe up dust and crumbs. Easier to clean too and whilst the smell is strong at first it does fade.£34.99 is a lot I did gulp. The design and material used explains the cost though and I would recommend.

There are a few things I liked about this broom. The handle is really long so if you need it to reach far to get behind deep things, you can. Ive you are mega tall, it will also be good for you.The swivel head is very manoeuvrable. So much so that I had to get used to it as I am used to a static brush head. It will really get into any weird out of reach place. I will be keeping it just for that ability. It is great in the kitchen and utility where I always have a combination of cat litter and cat hair and it has worked really well on that. I did have higher expectations on how it would perform on a carpet, and think it might pull more cat hair out of the carpet than it did. Even though the carpet is hoovered daily, Im sure there must be more cat hair in the pile that the hoover doesnt get out.But overall, I do like this brush and if you have a lot of wooden floor, Lino or tiles, then it will suit you well.

This arrives in a small zip bag and at first i thought that's an odd extra. Nice but not useful. I then realised it's to allow you to disassemble and store it away easily. We've only ever used dustpan and brush sets that have a 1 piece pole so when assembled you are forced to have it standing in a cupboard or in the corner of the kitchen. But this encourages you to disassemble, place in the bag and then into a cupboard or drawer for when you need it, which is brilliant! For quick putting away the pan can also clip onto the pole and if you set it right will also prevent the brush from fallin over. It's easy to assemble, just twist the poles together and make sure you screw the pole with the flat end into the brush. It is pretty versatile. You can either have a long 1.5m pole for easy sweeping ( especially if tall like me which is brilliant), then use the pan by hand. Or you can use some of the pole sections in the pan to save having to bend down. The pole is metal with plastic and rubber ends that twist together to give a solid lock and zero wobble. It's very solid when assembled. The brush has a pivot at the centre allowing for easy sweeping from almost any angle. Far better and smoother than our old brush. The Bristles on the brush are rubber and nice and soft. They easily sweep over tiles, and smooth floors. There's also a squeegee on the back for wet floors and scrubbing. The pan is also rubber and works surprisingly better than a plastic one. It has a bit of flex so easily scoops up dirt and debris.Good quality and value. Recommended. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful

This is the first of these that I have ever tried so I had a little bit of a learning curve on how to use this. Maybe this is due to my lack of experience but for the price, I would rather have a normal cheap broom as my everyday brush. But, that being said, this does pick everything up and is very easy to clean the brush itself due to the rubber material. I also like that you can use some of the handle bars for the dustpan so you can then use the dustpan without bending over. I find that on our hard floors the rubber almost sticks to the surface rather then glides smoothly like a usual broom.

It picks up mass amounts of pet fur on my carpet and hard surface floors, it does a better job than my other dust mops and vacuums by gripping pet hair and dust easily, no more hair on the floor!

This product is great. It does what it says on the tin. I was confident in using it based on the description. I think there are some areas can be improved but it's too early to tell yet. It's well made, and will look forward to using in continously.

Initially, I doubted the effectiveness of the small broom head, but I was pleasantly surprised! The broom is nimble and its swiveling head reaches into corners and tight spaces that larger brooms can't.Our cat's fur ends up on our sofas, beds, and carpets “ essentially everywhere. We rely on numerous lint rollers throughout the house for hair removal. The silicone bristles create static, which excellently attracts dust, dirt, debris and particularly, hair and pet fur.I've also observed that sweeping with this broom doesn't send dust flying; it all gathers neatly on the floor. The length of the metal handle, extending to 55 inches, is beneficial as it allows for easy pushing at an appropriate angle. Comprising four 14-inch segments that screw together, you can adjust the handle's length by removing a segment. The silicone head is easy to wash clean after use so that no debris is left on the bristles.Undoubtedly, this is one of the finest brooms that I've used for sweeping my carpets, and it performs admirably on wooden and tiled surfaces as well. For those with shedding pets, I wholeheartedly recommend this broom.

This Japanese broom is different than the normal brooms as this has rubber bristles. It does a good job of sweeping our floors. The listing titles says it's a dustpan set and this does not come with a dustpan unfortunately. I really feel as the broom is quite different than the average broom, it really should have come with a dustpan as well. One thing I really like is that it has a super long handle. As someone who is tall, having a longer handle definitely is an asset as it makes sweeping less painful on my back. This broom comes in a large cloth zippered bag, which to me, would fit a dustpan too if it had come with one. It's a nice broom, does sweep our laminate and tiles well. Just need a dustpan to make it a complete set.

I ordered this because I needed a way to clean outdoors while using a dust bin. Im quite happy with this broom, it cleans well and is tall enough that I can use my armpit for leverage to sweep with it one handed. It collected dust and hair from my wood floors quite easily, though I dont have rugs in my house yet so I havent tested it out on them.It can be a bit hard to assemble, some of the parts are a bit too tightly made and cant get into the hole of the extension rods without some force before youre able to get to the twisted screw part that locks them into each other. Afterwords it works great and seems very sturdy.I think itll work wonders outside and should be easy to clean and maintain with the rubber material the bristles are made from.

Review for Tyroler Japanese Broom & Dustpan Set | 30cm Head | 140cm Anti-Rust Handle | 100% Natural Rubber | Stand-Up Design, Ideal for Indoor/Outdoor, Hair & LintI hadnt seen a broom set like this before but I was intrigued that the description said that it was effective against dog fur on carpets. I had to see for myself!I didnt find the broom to be effective on fur on carpets. I have a carpet rake which does a much better job. However, the broom was really good on my hardwood floors. With the smooth side pressed against the floor, the broom easily picked up dust and crumbs. It did a better job than did my traditional bristle broom.Im not sure yet how to use the other side of the broom effectively which has finger-like rubber studs. Studs isnt the right word as the rubber fingers are soft and pliable. The rubber bristles are splayed to the sides which is helpful for getting into tight corners without scratching anything. The broom comes apart into 6 pieces, plus a storage case. Four pieces are the screw assembly handle. One piece is the broom head. One is the dustpan. One of the handle pieces can be screwed into the dustpan if you'd like. The broom head swivels. This is deliberate by design. Im still working out how a swivelling broom head is an advantage. I suspect I am holding the broom incorrectly. I am using sweeping motions (swinging back and forth across my body). The swivel head rotates with little ability for me to control it.I think I am supposed to use this broom like a push broom. I think pushing the broom the way school caretakers sweep halls might give me better control. Anyway, youll try it both ways and youll figure it out!One big advantage of this broom set is the ease of clean up. Since the broom head and dustpan are silicone, giving them a quick rinse under the tap makes them look like new.I recommend this Japanese broom set.

I first came across brooms like these at a well-known british home exhibition well over 20 years ago. Since then I have always had a couple of brooms in use. This one was easy to put together and the bristles make light work of solid floors. I have never liked their use on carpet and this is no exception. But for hard floors, ceilings and windows they are great!

This TYROLER Japanese Silicone Broom is a unique take on a traditional home broom. The metal broom handle comes in 4 pieces and needs to be screwed together and then screwed into the silicone head. The head of the broom is hinged and the handle can move side to side. When I first received this broom I wasn't sure how effective it would be. My doubts about its effectiveness were soon alleviated. This broom quickly and easily cleans up hair and dirt. I did find that this broom was most effective on luxury vinyl and tile floors. I appreciate the fact that the broom head being made from silicone is easy to clean with just a rinse under the tap.If I could change anything it would be that the silicone broom head would be a little bit longer.Overall, I am very satisfied with this silicone broom and its usefulness in cleaning up dirt and hair quickly and efficiently. So far based on my experience with this broom I recommend it.Priced at 26.99 at the time of this review.

I assemblemed this with high hopes - I have a big black lab, a big black cat, and a big fluffy calico cat, and all of them shed all the time. The instructions say that as you pass it over carpets, the static sucks up the fur.Okay¦ I tried that on a very low pile carpet the dog and the cats like to sprawl on. Some fur came off, but a lot stayed behind. Hmm, I tried it on tile and hardwood, and it worked about as well as the cheap broom from a hardware store that Im using now.I finally tried it on some medium pile stair treads that are always full of fur, and it left most of the fur behind. I took my slipper off, rubbed the rubber sole over the stair tread and got a ton of fur out of it that the ˜super broom left behind. I reread the instructions, Im using it correctly, but its not the ˜fur magnet its supposed to be, at least for me. Your mileage may vary.

Once the vacuum stopped picking up debris, I ran this broom over the mat. The AMOUNT of hair and dirt that came out was incredible! This is my favourite broom to use with the vacuum cleaner. i was dubious.. but Im converted entirely. I have dark floors, a blond dog, AND I have renovations going on so add drywall dust to the mix. The construction of this broom is so simple that it's deceiving... silicone bristles set a ways a part, and at the back, a flat flap like a squeegee.... so, I assembled it and thought 'yeah right' well... WOW I should have had more faith. Dog hair ( it doesn't kick up into the air like a regular broom would do either it just.. moves along ) drywall dust, bits of whatever... swept. It's low profile and narrow so it gets right into corners and under cupboards, it goes along the edges of the rugs... it even worked really well on slightly uneven ceramic tile. AND, you just tap it and it's clean... I'm surprised and pleased and I love it SO MUCH

Got this to use on pine needles on an outside deck but I love it and so it's staying inside instead. It is amazing with all the dirt--especially the pet hair of 2 cats and a dog...the fluff doesn't blow around. It sticks like a magnet to the broom. Plus, easy to use on wet spills since it is rubber. And nasty dirt just washes off so you're not sweeping your floor with a minging broom! Awesome!

This Japanese broom is great for getting cat hair off the carpet. It works so much better than a vacuum as the flap behind the bristles creates energy so the hairs are attracted to the bristles on the brush. The brush is easy to assemble, you just screw the parts of the handle together and attach them to the broom end. It comes with a free 2 year warranty too. Its good quality and it is great to use after vacuuming as the cat hairs dont always get sucked up.

This item is very well manufactured and nicely presented in its own kit bag.The item is supplied in parts and requires simply assembly before use.I find it ideal for sweeping up hair and debris which we have a lot of, with girls all having long hair in the house. It works very well on a range of surfaces such as carpets, wooden, vinyl and tile floors. The rubber brush part is sturdy and uses rubber bristles which are amazingly effective. The dustpan is large and has a very flat edge and is nice and big to catch the rubbish. The handle comes in 4 parts so its length can be varied to suit your specific needs. We will use this facility when space is restricted such as in our motorhome. The handle also fits into the dustpan making it even more versatile. It also has an anti-rust feature with stainless steel handles.I am impressed with the performance of this item.Although quite expensive I would recommend it.

The brush is made from rubber material so it creates much more friction than the common hair brush, so took me a bit of time to get use to it. It definitely wipes the floor better and cleaner. The handle is assembled by 4 tube sections, so shorter people can use one or two less sections. The dustpan I think is a bit small. The most worry part is the hinge of the brush. Be caution!!!

This broom is much lighter than I expected and works better than I initially thought it would. Despite its small size and simple design, it does an excellent job of sweeping, especially on smooth floors. Its almost feather-light, making it easy to maneuver, and the low-profile design paired with the swivel head makes it a breeze to sweep under couches or chairs. Call me impressed!Assembly was straightforward”it only took a minute to screw the poles together, and once it was set up, I found it much more versatile than anticipated. I originally got this for my shed, but its worked so well that Ive kept it inside for household use.Pros:- Super compact - easily slides beside fridge- Extremely lightweight and easy to maneuver- Low-profile design and swivel head make cleaning under furniture simple- Works great on smooth floors, like wood and tile- Quick and easy assemblyCons:- small head size- Only suitable for smooth surfaces; not ideal for carpets or rugs.Final Thoughts: For smooth floors, this broom is a fantastic option. Its lightweight build and swivel head make it perfect for getting into tight spaces, and despite its simple appearance, it does a great job picking up dust and debris. If youre looking for something to handle both floors and furniture nooks, this is definitely worth considering. However, if you're planning to use it on carpets, you may want to explore other options.

I can't lie its not easy to write an uplifting review about a broom, so i am going to list the positives as far as in my use of the broom.I have long hair and mixed flooring so it's an absolute marvel on the carpeted areas, in that the material the head is made from is really great at lifting the hair off the carpet. Equally I have a budgie, and lino flooring in the kitchen/living area and it was just as good in sweeping up her feathers and seeds so it worked across both types of flooring. Not the most sturdy construction, but it was easy to put together, and I think as long as its being used indoors you'll have no issues with it.

First thing you notice with this rubber broom and dustpan is that it reeks of a strong rubber smell. I left it to off-gas for over a month but it still smells so I only used it briefly to write this review. You have to put the handles of the broom together. One handle did not fit so I was left with a piece and as a result a shorter broom handle. That was disappointing and indicates some quality control issues but I was still able to use it with the shorter handle. You can add a handle to the dustpan but then either you have a too short handle on the dustpan or on the broom. I put the one that I couldnt use on the dustpan. The handle of the dust pan doesnt stay attached to the broom like most dust pans do. I could attach it but it always fell off. This was annoying as I like to keep my dustpan and broom together. It came with a cloth bag but i dont understand the reason for it. Are you supposed to disassemble your broom for storage or to take it with you? I dont like my broom that much that I would travel with it especially the way it smells.Performance wise it seemed to work well. It drags a little because it is rubber which means it requires a little more effort on some surfaces than a traditional broom. I was able to use to get pet fur and hair out a rug and carpet and it did a good job. A vacuum would have been easier. It seemed to be good at sweeping up hair probably because the hair didnt get caught in the bristles like it does with a regular broom. The dust pan is made of rubber and it odd. I would prefer a sturdier, traditional dustpan. At the end of the day, I couldn't get past the rubber smell. It was just too strong for me and not something that I wanted in the house.

The broom comes flat packed and requires a few quick steps to assemble. The bristles are similar to a normal broom but thicker and made of rubber with a pieces on the back similar to a squidgy. The cleaning action is fairly good but I can't say that it's any better than a normal broom. the main advantage is that it's a bit easier to clean if you get the bristles into anything sticky or wet.

It took me awhile to get used to this broom but it's amazing for pet fur. When the silicon drags on the floor, it generates static which then attracts all the dust and pet fur.I never realized how much dust, hair and food residue gets stuck in my broom bristles. With this broom, it sweeps everything up and you just run it under the tap for a few seconds and all clean. Much more hypoallergenic this way. Definitely recommend if you have shedding pets.

I was skeptical about the efficacy of this broom but after reading about it and seeing some YouTube videos and such, I decided to try it. I am quite pleased with it and I'm glad I decided to give it a try!It works very well on hardwood floors and on vinyl plank floors. I was very pleasantly surprised with how well it captures cat hair and dust where I didn't even know there was any -- e.g. under the furniture wayyyy at the back where other brooms will reach and where vacuuming back there requires moving the furniture, which isn't always feasible for me.The small outline of the silicone broom head and the way that it swivels (differently than you might expect) result in this broom being able to reach spots and grab dust and cat hair from them which I didn't think was possible with a broom. Very nice.As mentioned, it works great on hardwood floors and vinyl floors. Not as great on certain types of rugs, though. It works terrific on bamboo area rugs and also on the non-pile mats that we have by the entrance doors. But I find it somewhat difficult to use on the regular pile area rugs in the family room and front room. It works and it does grab cat hair, but for someone with a bit of a bum arm, it seems to take more effort than I can really give to this specific task, so I will leave those to the vacuum cleaner.I really like how lightweight this broom is, too. It is full size in length -- and long enough even for taller people like me -- yet it weighs so little that it makes it very easy to maneuver, whether you are using it on a floor or on stairs or under furniture, etc. Also, the way it comes packaged, there are four sections that easily screw together in under a minute total, and if you happen to be a shorter person in height, I think you could leave one of the middle sections out in order to customize it for a lower height.I next want to try this out on cobwebs to see how what kind of job it does on those as they do form in the basement around the windows at times. I would love to be able to capture them in the silicone bristles and then just wash them away with the garden hose. That would be so much easier than tackling cobwebs with a regular broom and then trying to vacuum them out of the broom --- it's really not easy.I haven't tried this broom out in wet mode yet. It occurs to me that I should probably try it with the bristles wetted to see if that makes it easier to use on pile rugs... and also that might be a way to try it out on the cobwebs mentioned above. Those two tests will be next on my to-do list and if there is more to report, I will update this review once I've had the opportunity to try out the wet version.Nonetheless, I would still recommend this broom as it is surprisingly efficient, terrific for cat hair, incredibly lightweight, easy to use, easy to maneuver, and all around kind of fun, actually (if housework can ever really be described as fun - lol.)Oh, and I also used this on the wooden deck out back and it works very well on that. I accidentally knocked a glass off of the table on the deck and there was broken shards all over the place. This broom worked incredibly well to corral all of the pieces very quickly!

Tyroler Japanese BroomThe broom arrives in the manufacturers woven storage bag and needs very slight assembling but this is just screwing the handle pieces together and finally screwing on the broom head. The broom is lightweight and very easy to manoeuvre in all directions. The bristles are made of silicone strands and sweep and collect debris and pet fur in the first sweep, theres no need to repeatedly go over and over the same piece of floor. This broom is brilliant for anyone with children and pets as it makes sweeping effortless and you actually get good results without the manual labour.Anyone who is a hairdresser or barber would be delighted with this type of broom.

I have been using this broom on my hardwood and tile floors for a few weeks now and it is a game changer. Whereas hair-style bristles leave things behind and require repeated passes over the same area, this broom does a great job with much less effort because one side of it is a solid rubber piece. The swivel head helps to get into tough to reach areas and I was even able to get under some of the chairs in the sitting room. I like that I am able to use the laundry tub and a bit of water to massage the bristles and get the broom clean as new again.

At first, I was skeptical about the claims this sweeper made, but I have a dog and cat, so I had to try it out.The sweeper comes in its own storage bag and is very easy to assemble. The head can swivel in line with the handle, so it can be stored assembled in a closet and take up very little room. The sweeper head is a little smaller than I expected, but that really doesnt make much difference. The length of the handle is generous. The knuckle joint on the sweeper's head makes it very maneuverable.I first tried it on a carpet fairly covered in pet hair. It takes effort, as opposed to making ˜sweeping a breeze, but it does pull the pet hair together in clumps. The hair matts together at the end of the carpet, but it also sticks to the sweeper's head, so it also matts together on the carpet, and just spreads collected hair around the carpet. I had to bend over and pick hair off the carpet. I tried it on two carpets of different piles, and its not œbetter than any vacuum cleaner as stated, but with a bit of work, it makes a visible difference. I think it would be easier just to use the vacuum. On floors, it makes the job much easier. It collects dust, dirt, and hair a lot more efficiently than a broom. When sweeping it into a dustpan, it goes right in without being spread around requiring extra sweeping like a broom. I swept a bedroom, two bathrooms, and a kitchen in about a quarter of the time it takes with a broom. It works very very well on floors.Great idea, great product, just dont expect too much out of using it on carpets.

I was curious to try this weird looking broom out, I wasn't expecting it to be such a game-changer.It's oner of those things you didn't realise you needed, now that I've tried it I don't want to be without it.ProsSuperb on hard flooringFar cleaner than a bristle brushSingle sweep action (no need to repeat each stroke)Gets into tight cornersActually turns a chore into light workRubber strip doesn't scatter debrisLong handle requires less effortSwivel headEasy to see 'line' resultsConsA bit rubbish on carpets (unless I'm using it wrong)I could go on with more pros but I started sounding like an advert. It comes packaged in a plain brown box and compact, inside the main brush and handle sections are bagged inside a rather nice canvas tote storage bag, but I can't see the point of this, as once it is assembled there's really no need to strip it down again, but it's still useful to re-purpose.Assembly is as simple as screwing all the rods together and the brush head onto the end, I would advise that you screw these tightly as they can comes loose during use if not.UsageThe key is to 'drag' the brush towards you rather than push it, you soon get used to it as it feels intuitive, pushing it is much harder and ineffective. Apply a slight downwards force as you sweep for best results (especially on short carpets).Carpets:Long-pile carpets - Just useless, I found it harder work than vacuuming and hardly picked anything up.Short-pile carpets, rugs, mats and carpet tiles - This application was much better, especially for pet hair, but I did find it left solid bits behind (crumbs, grit etc.) and the 'electrostatic' effect wasn't all that noticeable or useful.Hard flooring:Laminate floor - THIS is where the broom came into its own, it is excellent and sweeps up absolutely everything, you can see the results as you go along and it feels almost effortless and less of a chore, the amount of pet hair this broom 'finds' is unreal, I usually use a duster style dry-mop and I always thought it got everything, but this broom found more, I found it easier to sweep with which surprised me. And there's the way it reaches the tightest of corners, that was very impressive.Kitchen/Bathroom floor times and lino - It performed pretty much the same as laminate and even handles the textured tiles and gaps impressively. As soon as I realised this was best for hard flooring I never looked back, sweeping is a chore but this felt oddly satisfying, a single sweep is all that's required rather than the multiple sweeps of a traditional bristle brush, and the rubber wiper didn't spread the sweepings either. This is now my goto floor sweeper, it takes me no time to whip around each room and it doesn't feel like a chore so much.

This is my first time coming across this type of broom hands on but I have heard about it in the past and seen raving reviews about it. It came in a nice storage bag with the handle needing assembly. The bristles are strong and work really well to catch dirt with the solid edge disturbing stubborn dirt. This broom really made cleanup a breeze as it doesn't leave small pieces of dust behind which then needs multiple passes. It just does the job the first time around. The dustpan is very nicely made too and can easily lift the dust to then empty this into the bin. Handle feels well made and durable. Overall a very nice broom that makes clean up a lot easier.

I saw this Japanese broom, and thought I'd give it a bash! I also thought rubber is a bit sticky isn't it? I also know when I sweep my house I brush half the muck the opposite way, is it the air? This sweeping brush is great! I use my hoover to pick up the thick, then this. I've discovered the rubber material picks up all the tiny fragments creating tumble weed balls in my house! See images. The brush end is also easily washed too!And because it is small profile it gets in all the small spaces like under the edge of the fridge etc. This is an independent review. I ordered an item I like and wanted to share what I think works well about the product. I am scoring this a 5/5 because it exceeded my expecations, works well and is as described.

I've been watching YouTube videos about this type of broom and I'm actually surprised to say that they broom actually works! It sweeps up hard floors and low-pile carpets easily pulling out human and pet hair with easy. I actually love using this broom to clean our windows as the handle is long and the head includes a squeegee.Don't expect this broom to work well on uneven or tiled surfaces with grout lines - but it's perfect for smooth floors where you don't have to deal with bumps and crevices.

The 'Tyroler Bright Tools Japanese Broom, 100% Silicone, 30cm Swivelling Head, 140cm Anti-Rust Handle' arrived in a branded box that also contained an instruction sheet. The broom head is much smaller than a traditional boom with bristles, this I found made it easier to get under cabinets, and adding to that the ability to angle the broom handle, and I can get much further under. The broom heads adjustable angle also means I have to less often re-position myself to allow the broom to go where I want it.The handle being assembled from 4 parts does mean the length can be adjusted as needed to best suit the height of the user. The handle pieces screw together and I found them to be quite secure, even the smaller diameter threads as they go deeper inside the next section. One other aspect that has been considered is that of the end of the handle which has a hole so it can be put on a hook, but as there is no idea on where it will end up as the tubes are screwed together, it has also been given the ability to swivel allowing it to be adjusted as needed.I found the broom to be most effective on our polished floors, and due to the slim line nature of the broom head, it is also lighter.

Wow, lots to like about this broom:- quality build, from the broom head, to the 4 part handle and connecting threads, to the silicon dust pan, to the metal used in the handle, to the quality paint and finish. All parts and materials appear well made and construction well thought out.- the benefit of static to hold the dust on both the scrape4 side and silicon side works well. Amazing to see how much more this picks up- broom cleans up easily with water- does a great job sweeping my low pile throw rugs that the vacuum struggles with (it wants to suck up the whole rug)- nice storage bag- broom handle comes in 4 sections, allowing you to set to your owns desired length- the left/right pivot knuckle does allow for nice flexibilityThe only con is really the size of the broom head. It is pretty small, and multiple passes would be required for the same size area compared to my other broom. Also, the odour is strong when unpacking, but does dissipate after a couple of days.Absolutely would recommend this to anyone as a great silicon sweeper.

FYI This does not include a dustpan, just the broomIt is disappointing that the listing is inaccurate as the broom itself if great, especially for pet hair (and they are shedding right now). It can angle to get into tighter spaces and the piece at the back is great for grabbing the stuff left behind between the bristles. It has a long handle but you can skip one of the sections if you find it too long (the piece with the wider threaded end goes into the broom attachment). You can leave it screwed together or take the pieces apart and keep them in the storage bag. The handle did fit in our broom/mop handle storage organizer on the wall so seems standard width. If it came with the advertised dustpan, this would be five stars but false advertising is a red flag for me.

This floor dustpan and bush is really good at getting into small spaces and corners. The head is small and swivels which helps in getting those hard to reach places without effort. I rate this set highly as a very well constructed piece of equipment that cleans dust and hair with ease.

What a weird broom, I LOVE IT!Long handle, small articulated head, silicone bristles with a kind of flappy part on the back... This is really effective and a different sweeping experience than a traditional broom. This is pretty much 'pull only' but it really picks up the dirt. My dog doesn't shed much but this did pull back a fair bit of hair that I didn't even realise was there.I think it's great, difficult to get excited about a broom but I do really like this and I would recommend it to others.

The broom and dust pan works well. The 4 piece broom handle is likely too long for most people. I'm almost 5'10 or 177 cm and with all the pieces, the handle comes up to my chin. I don't need it to be that long. You can use 2 pieces for the broom and 2 for the dustpan so that you don't have to bend down to use the dustpan. However, only 1 of the 4 pieces has a built in black end piece handle so likely you will use that for the broom meaning the dustpan will have be open and instead have an open mental tube at the top.I wish they gave 2 handle pieces for greater flexibility of use.I should also note that one of the 4 pieces had the screw side piece break off when I tried to move it from the dust pan to put it back to make the broom handle longer. Thus, the broom pieces are not durable and I recommend setting it up how you like and then not switching it around.I only did the 1 switch and that is when it broke. My biggest disappointment is that the dustpan can not connect to the broom when not in use. So that makes it harder to store and makes it take up too much room in the broom closet.

This came beautifully packaged and has its own bag, so I was expecting a really well made broom and dustpan, unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with this set. In the bag you get four tubes, they screw together and then you can screw one end into the broom head, it all works well and is excellent quality. At this price point you would think the makers would also give you more tubes for the dustpan, but no the suggestion in the instructions is that you can fit a handle into the dustpan, so I will need to buy a handle or find a spare one for the dustpan. The broom head is also too small, it is made of natural rubber, which is fantastic, but why isnt it a bit bigger? I used this to sweep my driveway, it worked ok, but you simply cannot sweep everything up at once, it work really well, but as the head is so small and also not that wide, some of the leaves simply piled up on top and flew away, I used my cheap broom and that worked so much better. The adjustable knuckle whilst a good idea, means that the head moves around too much, yes you can use it in crevices and other hard to reach nooks and crannies, but you can use a cheap broom as well, as the bristles are long and it actually worked better than this broom. The dustpan is very sturdy, but the design is not great, there is a central piece which means that it does not hold that much dirt, I also found it to be too small, my cheap dustpan is simply flat and will take lots of dirt, this one is not easy to use. I really dont think the makers thought through this set, it is far too expensive for what you are getting, there are so many better ones on the market which are sturdy and cheaper. So if you want to buy this one, I strongly suggest you shop around, as in my view this is over priced, not great value for money and most of all it just does not do the job well, but, I am being generous and give this set three stars.

This is a great broom and dustpan set. The broom and dustpan are both all silicone, and work pretty well, even for some liquids like water. The handle can be adjusted to whatever length you choose (but if you want the black eyelet to hang it up, you need to have at least 2 sections of handle), and are about 16 inches each (though more like 10 each when you screw them together). So heres what I like about it:-The handle is easy to screw in-You can choose the length of the handle-Really easy to cleanAnd heres what I dont like about it:-There was a heavy chemical smell out of the box-The broom and dustpan dont clip togetherSomething you need to keep in mind when you buy this is that theyll stink out of the box. For the first couple of days, mine smelled heavily of chemicals, so much so that I left it to air out, outside in the sun for a couple of days. The other thing is that the dustpan doesnt seem to clip to the broom in any way. I couldnt find a way to do it, so you may need a different storage method if youre going to use both.Even though it heavily smells, I think I would recommend this set. I decided that this will be an outdoor set, not because of the smell but rather because its sturdier than other brooms. The silicone doesnt seem to get dirty as easily, and I like that the rain can clean it off. If youre wondering what happened to the smell, it has subsided, and doesnt smell anymore (I left it outside for about 2 days).

Arrived in bag inside a larger branded zipper bag. Basic instructions included along with plea to register product with company for warranty reasons.Broom handle in sections. Easy enough to assemble without instructions.Broom head screws on with what seems standard broom end attachment.Broom head consists of double rows of rubber 'bristles' like a bbq brush, plus has a backing squeegee blade. It swivels side to side so it adjusts that way, but the angle of the 'bristles' side has a more horizontal to floor profile than, obviously, the squeegee side does and that doesn't see adjustable at all. The bristles do sweep floor clean and squeegee captures/scrapes along behind to trap debris. Or, I guess, you can turn the broom over and just use the squeegee side to scrape as much as a softer rubber blade can.The dustpan is verging on floppy, with the soft, front catching edge of the pan allowing fine debris to scoot under it on a bare floor. The handle of the pan *looks* like it could be friction gripped to the broom shaft until you try it and realize the bottom of the groove in the handle is a ridge that doesn't allow you to complete the attachment. That's a missed design opportunity, unless, after several tries, I still haven't done it properly. All in all, it's a meh from me. Works if you don't have something better to hand, with enough frustration you won't reach for it first, or alternately, if you use it in a wet environment, it might do alright but I'm not going that far in field trials with it.

This broom has a long handle that comes in four segments which screw into each other securely. The full handle is very long giving you a good reach but found that I was able to take a segment out to make it ore compact. It works surprisingly well on hard flooring collecting up dust and hair with no issues, and the best thing is that the hair doesn't gather on the brush like conventional broomsticks. The angled head makes it easy to manoeuvre and can be easily packed away to save space.

This broom is quick and easy to assemble, it came in a bag which I thought was strange, but maybe people like to disassemble it between uses, I don't, so the bags not really of any use to me. The broom also has a 2 year warranty which I thought was pretty goodThe broom is am unusual shape but works surprisingly well, easily picking up dog hair and dust. I have mostly laminate flooring so will be using the broom on that, it is easy to use and does pick up a lot of dog hair, but I will still be using my vacuum cleaner as well as I feel that often works better, especially with my mutts when they're moulting (just about all year round lol)The thing it's best at though, is getting in the spaces underneath the settee. I feel this broom is better on laminate, wood and other smooth flooring, not so sure I'd use it on carpets

I am not sure what it is about this broom but it does not pick up dirt/ dust very well on my floor and I have to keep going over it which is a little repetitive. The broom length is great and suits me well for my height. The fact that assembling it and dismantling it is quick, simple and easy is great as well as storage in a small bag is wonderful.I am not sure about this and prefer my microfibre spray mop.

To start: I have 2 cats, one of whom sheds a lot. I was excited to try a new item advertised specifically for picking up pet hair.I first tried it on my bedroom carpet - it didn't do much of anything. Tried it on the cats' favourite couch - it didn't do much of anything. It functions fine as a broom on a hard floor (I tried it on my bathroom tile), but I don't find it to be anything special. I'll probably just stick with my vacuum and chom-chom roller to keep the pet-hair down to a minimum around the house.

I tested this Tyroler branded broom out on the my lino kitchen floor, I was surprised at how well the rubber head seems to grab everything in its path without leaving trails of crumbs. The handle is plenty long enough to allow me to sweep stood up. I was really happy with the rubber dustpan it is unbreakable and I feel will last forever. If I had one minor criticism it would be the head should be wider, at 12 inches it is on the small side. Overall a great quality dustpan and brush.

I really like this broom and dustpan. They are both well made and sturdy. Quality of the materials used it good. I like that the rod connection pieces actually go into each other about 2 inches before they get screwed in. This make the rods sturdy and strong. The broom works well and moves dirt evenly. The long handle makes it comfortable to use.

I ordered this silicone broom to pick up hair tangled in my vacuum's power head. I recognised that the product description states that the broom is only 11.8 inches in size and works on the static cling principle. I do not expect any broom to clean the floor thoroughly. Like most broom handles made in China, they are in segments that must be twisted together. The threads are different for the broom head.I have used this on hardwood floors, vinyl plank flooring, ceramic tile, and carpets. With carpet, I found that it is better to pull the broom than to push, like I do on other flooring. I like the ability to angle the head, and it is thinner than other brooms I have, so I can get it in narrower spaces. My goal was to reduce the amount of hair that gets sucked into the power head. When I vacuumed after using this broom, it still picked up dust and other debris but very little hair. The silicone broom washes easily, removing the dust and smaller particles in the bristles.

Wow! Was my first reaction to setting this broom down in my kitchen with ceramic tiles. I knew it needed a quick vac or sweep but nothing major at least not that I could see. So, I thought it would be the perfect spot to try the broom for the first time. All it took was 2 swipes of the broom to elicit that Wow! reaction. An unbelievable amount of everything was caught by the broom, swipe after swipe, more & more stuff was caught by this broom. I have 2 cats so I'm always aware of their fur because it manages to get everywhere. But, really a regular broom just wasn't enough, maybe for the 1st going over, but then it needed a follow-up 2nd going over with a vacuum cleaner. But this broom ... is different!! And it has me so excited. I know that may make me sound as though I live a sad, lonely life, lol, I'm not & I don't. I just have 2 extra large cats with whom I share an apartment & I'm at constant war with their fur, no not while it's still on their large furry bodies but after it's shed & I swear sometimes that there's more fur off than on! So, when I find something that's on my side in my war against their fur, I get excited & want to share the news with every other pet owner, but having said that, this broom is not just a weapon against fur but it's also an extremely effective weapon against my other nemesis: Dust! The broom's flat blade (made from rubber) gathers up an eye popping amount of that too.The dustpan's lip or end lies flat up against the floor. The benefit of this is that once the muck is swept up into the dust pan there's no line of left over muck, which starts off a seemingly never ending loop of sweeps, moving the dust pan, finding there's still a thin line of muck ... sweep, move, repeat etc. etc. As mentioned, this doesn't happen with this dustpan. One sweep & there's no thin line of muck left laughing at you over & over again while you sweep & sweep again. There are a few cons that are really no big deal but I feel I should cover them. There's a very strong odor of rubber once the cute zippered black bag that the whole broom, dustpan, & handles (that very easily screw into one another) comes in - & can be used to store the broom or parts of it. The odor does dissipate & I'm sure it will completely disappear given some time & use of the product. The description claims that the broom's hardware is stainless steel but it also claims on the description page that it's aluminum. I tend to believe it's the latter. That's fine with me, aluminum is lighter in weight & wears well.Speaking of the broom handles, once they're all attached, you're left with a very tall broom. This is great if you need to reach tall places but if you want a regular length broom to reach regular places, you can choose to leave one of the parts stored in the handy dandy zippered black bag or you can do what I did & use the larger end & attach it to the dustpan where there just so happens to be a corresponding handle-sized opening. This means you don't have to lean down as far as the floor to sweep muck up into the dustpan which makes it much kinder on your back. I wish I could take credit for this tip/hack but I saw it in another review! Lol. But, I'm sure I would have figured it out myself sooner or later (I'm shaking my head in a laughingly no fashion as I type this!)Because the broom uses static electricity to gather as much muck & stuff as it does, you will find a bunch of dust, fur, & whatever else stuck to the dustpan. I was a bit grossed by seeing this up close & personal but a damp tissue/paper towel/disinfectant wipe etc., can all be used to wipe the dustpan off after use so you're not storing a bunch of muck stuck to your dustpan, yuck, lol! I'm being light-hearted about this but I actually feel a lot better knowing it's up off the floor so my poor fur-shedding cats aren't walking on it & picking it up on their not so tiny toe beaned paws only for them to have to clean it all off later - well, you know how cats clean themselves - while I'm blissfully unaware (& have been all this time prior to this marvel of a cleaning utensil.) of exactly what they've been carrying (& depositing) all around the apt. Finally, I do wish that the end of the broom handle, where there's an opening for it to be hung up, had been made out of rubber or rubber-like non-slip material. The way it is now, if the broom isn't leaned or rested up against the wall, or anywhere, v-e-r-y carefully, it will just slide all the way down the wall or the counter or wherever, until it crashes onto the floor. That seems like such an obvious & easy fix I can't understand their reasoning for leaving it like that. In the past, I've used the finger or a thumb of a cleaning or dishwashing glove no longer in use, to slip over the top of the broom handle to help prevent slippage but more recent & modern brooms haven't needed it because they already have the anti-slip broom handles. Once I've had an opportunity to use this broom for a while (I mean, I only just got this broom) & I notice anything worth remarking on, pro or con, I'll be back to update or edit. For now though, it's a very enthusiastic 5 Star rating from me.

For a brush and dustpan set, this is rather expensive, but is it worth the money? The set comes inside a Tyroler branded cloth bag. It's a nice added extra and it means you can store the brush and pan is relatively small space. However, I'm not sure how practical it is to store it all in the bag long term as it's the kind of thing you need set up and ready to go.The brush handle comes in four pars that screw together securely. The description says they're stainless steel, and they do pass the magnet test, so I have no reason to doubt that claim. The brush head screws on and is hinged to allow the brush head to get underneath furniture. The bristles and blade on the head are all made of rubber, so it tends not to get anything stuck to it, and makes it particularly great for sweeping hairs from rugs. Works great on hard floors too.The dustpan is also made of rubber. It seems rather odd at first as the whole thing is flexible, including the handle, but it works well. There's even a hole in it, so you can insert one or more of the brush handle sections into it, so you don't have to bend while using it. There's also a groove cut into the handle, what seems to be for something, but I can't figure it out. Some instructions would perhaps have been nice! One thing worth noting is that this product is made in Israel. There's even Hebrew text on the brush head and dustpan. Quite unusual to see that on a product sold in the UK.Overall, this is a very effective dustpan and brush. It's well made and does the job. It is expensive though, for what it is.

I had high hopes for this broom and thought it would be something revolutionary being 'Japanese'. Unfortunately it hasn't quite lived up to the hype and feels more like a marketing ploy. The description states, it's good for all surfaces, but I found it's only good on hard floors. Here is excels, and really does pickup dust and fine particles. Being silicone, the bursh stays nice and clean and if need be washes well. However, on carpet it's a different story. The brush simply is not stiff enough to get any traction on the surface to lift off any dirt. Shame really, as the broom is well-made and easy to assemble. If you have hard floors, than this is for you.

We have two new kittens who are not yet adept at keeping litter in a box (!) so this broom is fabulous for those quick daily sweep ups as it picks up the litter easily with its dual sided sillicone bristles and wiper blade - just swivel around to whichever side you wish to use - and it picks up/drags the dirt together really well and gets a good contact with the floor tiles (smooth) so gets every last bit. Easy to wash clean as well in soapy water as the bristles/wiper blade combo is silicone. Long handle that just screws together - ideal for me (5 foot 5 and my husband who is over 6 foot).

This is a great broom. I think I prefer it to the traditional broom I have been using for my tile and hardwood floors. It does an excellent job in sweeping up dust and dirt and the brush head swivels nicely to get into corners. The rubber is very soft and has bristles on one side and a long rubber strip on the other that can be used as a squeegee if you are sweeping water away to a drain. I find the squeegee side works almost better than the bristles on my tile floors and for sweeping up debris in to my dustpan. Since it is rubber, it attracts and holds dust, and washes and dries easily. The sturdy metal pole is a bit longer than a traditional broom and is beautifully finished.I'm not sure why it comes with a carrying case, but if you needed to transport it, it can be disassembled into a nice bag. Now that it is assembled, I personally have no reason to pack it away, although if you need to, it is super easy and quick to do.

On hard floors or carpet this simple tool get all the dog hair!. On hard flors it is a complete breeze to run this over the floor and get every last dog hair, the flared out bristles and on the sides get river up to baseboards where those sneaky hairs like to hid.On carpet its a shorter brushing type motion that pulls hair out of the fabric-*even after I vacuum with my Dyson!*The handle is pretty simple: sections screw into each other, but it is sturdy-no bending no matter how hard I push on it, and does not loosen up either. Theres a warranty card that comes with for a (Ithink 4 years) go figure! The head of the broom has Avery mobile swivel attachment so I could easily get in the gap beside the refrigerator toget out hair, dust, crumbs and some fine gravel without having to pull the refrigerator out!Worked great in the bathroom too even when the floor was damp!A great addition to the cleaning tool collection and a very reasonable price!

Reviewing: Tyroler Japanese Broom | 100% Silicone | 30cm Swiveling Head | 140cm Anti-Rust Handle | Dust-Catching System | Ideal for Hair & Lint - 27I first saw one of these brooms in the 90s, being sold by one of those sales-people who belong on QVC but he was in a rainy market in England. He was selling the broom version and the hand brush version for half the price, and I felt sorry for him so I bought the hand one because he was the most entertaining thing I'd seen that day. When I got home and started to clean up cat hair and it worked perfectly, quickly and magically, I regretted not buying one of the brooms as well, and I never saw him again. So I ahe had one of these for over 30 years now, and I still use it, even if a lot of the prongs have fallen off. And now I have a broom, which works just as well, and magically picks up dog hair like no other broom (I upgraded the cat). It's also amazing on carpets - It's the only thing that does work well for picking animal hair from them.So don't spend 30+ years in regret... You need one of these, so just get one!

This review is for the 'Tyroler Bright Tools Tyroler Japanese Broom | 100% Silicone | 30cm Swiveling Head | 140cm Anti-Rust Handle | Dust-Catching System | Ideal for Hair & Lint.'-This brush arrives in pieces and requires assembly.- It is really easy to assemble, just slot in each piece and twist to tighten- It feels quite lightweight- The brush is made of silicone and is useful on laminate and hard floors to sweep up dust, hair, dirt etc.- The brush head is fairly small and narrow so can fit under furniture and into tight spaces easily.

I've had a brush similar to this, albeit considerably cheaper and with a fixed, not swivel, head for around 20 years now so as soon as I saw this Tyroler Japanese Broom I was interested. As my previous rubber broom has bristles that remain in good order, I have every confidence that this broom will prove equally durable. It's perfect for dealing with hair and lint in particular so good if you have a household with long haired occupants or pets that shed hair - and in fact it's far superior to a standard broom for these purposes, though it will pick up crumbs also. The 30cm wide rubber head is a good size and the swivel feature is excellent. The handle, 140cm in length and stainless steel, is rust-proof and lightweight. For dust, hair and lint it would be hard to beat the Tyroler Japanese Broom. Good value, with proper care it should last for many years. It arrives compactly packaged in a handy branded bag, is easy to assemble - and I'd highly recommend it.

I ordered this silicone broom based on my wifes recommendation. Initially, I was skeptical”how could a simple silicone brush outperform a hoover or even a traditional broom on hard floors or tiles? But I decided to give it a try, and heres what I found.🧰 **Easy Assembly**When the broom arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to assemble. You simply screw the parts of the handle together, and youre ready to go in just a few minutes. No complicated instructions or tools required”just quick and straightforward assembly.🏠 **Performance on Hard Floors**Now, onto the real test: my kitchen floor, which is tile-based. I have to say, this silicone broom exceeded my expectations. Its fantastic on tiled floors and wooden floors alike. The silicone bristles are great at getting into tight corners, and they adapt effortlessly to the edges of kitchen cupboards, around plants, and along skirting boards. I was genuinely amazed at how much dust and hair this broom collected. For hard floors, this broom passed with flying colours.🧹 **Challenges with Carpet**However, when I moved to the living room, which has carpet, the results were less impressive. The broom didnt seem to pick up dirt and dust as effectively, and I found myself going over the same spot multiple times. In the end, I resorted to using my Dyson vacuum to finish the job. That said, I found the silicone broom useful for getting into tight corners and along skirting boards”places where my vacuum cant reach as easily. I used the broom to gather the dirt into the centre of the room and then vacuumed it up.👍 **Conclusion**In conclusion, this silicone broom is an excellent tool for hard floors, especially tiles and wood. Its much better than a traditional broom for these surfaces, and its impressive how well it handles dust, hair, and dirt in tight spaces. However, for carpets, unless you have pets or deal with a lot of hair, it might not be as effective as a vacuum. I now use it specifically for getting into corners and along skirting boards, followed by vacuuming to finish the job. On that front, it fits the purpose perfectly and is definitely something Id recommend for anyone looking for an improved cleaning method for hard floors.

The best part about this rubber bristle broom is that its collapsible and therefore very portable. The carry / storage bag is decent quality. Once assembled the handle seams fairly sturdy¦ the broom head on the other hand does not. Its attached at an odd angle and Im not sure if itll disconnect over time. The bristles are kind of wimpy and they kind of fray out at the ends.I have another broom similar to this and the quality is far superior to this one.Again¦. If you need a rubber bristle broom that is very collapsible and portable then this will fill the bill¦. otherwise Id look elsewhere.

This broom is extremely effective for sweeping a variety of surfaces - even carpet! The broom is tall enough that both adults in my home can use it comfortably. The rubber bristles of the broom are dense, and very effective at pushing debris, without it slipping through. The included rubber dustpan is a good one; sturdy, but bendy. This is my first rubber broom, and the biggest advantages (to me) over a traditional bristled broom are that 1: I can use it on carpet and it picks up an impressive amount of hair, and 2: that I can rinse/wash the bristles really easily and completely. I'm happy with this broom, it feels sturdy and it's comfortable and ergonomic to use.

This is a good broom for the low price. I use it mostly for the cat fur on our mats and rugs. It works great for that and it's easy to clean too. I also tried it on our wooden patio, it worked ok but not as well as our stiff bristled deck broom does. However it is much more gentle on the wood than our other stiff bristle broom. Just takes a bit more muscle and time to achieve the same results with this silicone broom. The broom is well made and strong. Overall a great broom for certain applications!

You need to seep with the rubber flap closest to you. The brush is good to use wet or dry and can be used on carpet or no carpeted floors. Static causes dust and particles to stick .Overall a great brush for all around cleaning

I wasnt sure about this broom as it looks quite unusual but had a use case in mind when I ordered it. When it arrived, my curiosity got the better of me and I put it together straight away. Its super simple to assemble, just screw together the threaded parts of the handle. In my mind this was a Japanese broom, but I guess thats just the style of it, as its clearly from Israel. The broom head is made from silicone and features many soft œteeth along with a blade-type piece thats closest to you. The blade allows for some swiveling too.I tried this on the kitchen floor and saw that it seems to work mostly from static (we have pets). Then I tried it on one of our area rugs that has a soft shag to it and we cant use the vacuum beater brush on (its too harsh). It works amazingly well! This is a rug that I use one of those handheld lint cleaner/pet hair removers that you can get on Amazon, which you have to use on your hands and knees for rugs.Well, this Japanese broom is so lightweight and glides over it gently and yet effectively picks up all kinds of pet fur that I cant even see is there. This is the perfect tool for the job. There are some reviews that say this does not work on carpet. Id like to elaborate on that information. It is not stiff enough to work on our pile carpets, unfortunately. But this soft shag that we have, this is the best way to clean it. It not only picks up fur on the silicone head itself, it sweeps it onto the hardwood floor over the edge.Im very happy to have found an appropriate gentle and effective tool to get the fur properly out of this rug that we cant use the built-in vacuum spinning brush on. For that alone, this is definitely worth it.

I am taking off a star for the marketing ploy that decided to call this japanese. This is a silicon broom, plain and simple. If it wasn't such a decent product i might have removed 2.The rest of the advertising is spot on, it does indeed use static to pull up tiny stuff and hairy stuff, requires very little effort despite the friction that it creates. The pole is really rather basic but solid, it uses a thread and a very tight connection, it will not come loose. Is rather pricey for what it is but it is, effectively.. a designer label.

I recently saw a video advertisement of this silicone broom. In the video the broomis being used on rugs and carpets to take out pet hair and dander as well.It can also be used on hardwood and tile flooring to collect even the smallest of particles.I used this broom on my rug after using my regular broom and let me tell you, a lotof hair got out from the rug. I do not have any pets but I myself have a lot of hairfall. Hair usually gets trapped in clothing and rugs that no matter who much I clean, I will always find hair.Compared to a regular bristle brush broom, this is a lot smaller and more sleek. It does pick up even the slightest of particles but you do need to work a bit morewith it. This is why I recommend using this only for rugs and carpets while keepingyour regular broom for the rest of the places. You do need to keep the flat blade dust catcher at the front side when sweepingbecause the bristle side when placed on the front goes flat against the floor. The bristles do the brushing while the flat blade does the collecting. In the listing pictures the flat blade is always shown to be used from the front side which how I tried using this.Overall, it's a unique brooming experience, some will love it, others will not. I amtruly indifferent because it does get the job done for me but is just a bit moretedious.Cleaning the broom head is not hard at all, just do frequent cleanings with water or a drop of dish soap with lots of water.

I was a little sceptical when I first read about this broom, but blow me - it works exactly as claimed! Dust and hair is magically attracted to the silicone bristles, and none is left on my wooden floor after sweeping up. It really is more efficient than a soft brush.I don't have carpet in my house, so I've only been able to test the broom on hardwood and stone, and both of them it works beautifully. The tilting head is another big bonus, keeping the head flat against the floor and making it much easier to navigate difficult spaces. The broom is slim, so it takes up less storage space as well.I've been very impressed with this, and it's a clever use of static attraction. The silicone head is silent in use, water proof, and I'm sure will last a very long time. There's certainly no chance of shedding hairs! I see that the same brand makes other cleaning items too, and I now feel inspired to investigate this clever range. Five stars.

This came in minimal packaging that was easy to recycle. I didn't notice any harsh smells when I opened this up. This broom was easy to assemble, it just screws together. I'm a little unsure of how the handle will hold up over time given it is screwed together in sections. So far it seems pretty stable though. I tried this out on our low pile carpet and it really sucked the hair out of the fibers and was easy to clean up. I fond it a lot easier to pull this than by pushing it. I have used it on vinyl and hardwood floors as well and it works well.

I requested this item because the description says that it can be used on carpets and rugs.Positives: Well packaged and presented. Very easy to assemble; the sections fit together beautifully without any pushing or pinching of fingers. Both the broom and the dustpan are well made and sturdy. Fits under the front of my sofas and fridge/freezer. Doesnt require much effort.Negatives: Expensive for a broom. Have to bend down to use the dustpan.I am so impressed with this item. I used it to sweep a bit of my rug as a test. The photo shows how much dog hair I swept in about 2-3 minutes; far more than my vacuum cleaner picks up. If the manufacturer made a long handled dustpan, Id definitely buy one. Although I would never usually pay £35 for a broom and dustpan, I have to say that this one is worth it. Ill be keeping it as an indoor broom. Definitely recommended.

I was impressed with this rubber broom.I have a similar one that is decades old, but this one from Tyroler is a significant improvement. The broom requires assembly, but it is simple and only requires screwing the pieces together. I liked that it comes with a compact storage bag.The broom head swivels and has a thin comb, but it is not flimsy. It is lightweight, feels balanced, and is easy to wield. It works on both hard floors and carpets but requires slightly more strength on the latter. It was a delight to use on stairs, as it grabbed dust in the corners with little effort. It is a good alternative or complement to a vacuum cleaner. The rubber did smell fresh out of the package, but I only noticed it up close. It was almost unnoticeable after three or four days.

The broom comes well packed in its own little black bag.It is very easy to assemble and if required to dissemble again. The bag make storage easy.I was particularly happy that the material quality of the whole kit is good. The metal, the paint, the rubber are all top notch. In use, it does exactly what it says it will. From the scraper blade squeezing the dust from hard floors, to the soft rubber bristles removing hair and larger bits from carpet,.... it just works. The bottom joint is a knuckle joint and bends left and right to allow better access up to the edge. The long bristles do get into the corners. The dustpan is quite flexible and takes a bit of getting used to. If you remove 2 sections of the (quite long) broom handle and insert these vertically into the dustpan and you have a good sized long handle dustpan and brush. There does not appear to be any additional colour options - so black and red it is.The write up says it is stainless steel - but I can not confirm if this is the case. There are no exposed metal surfaces, the paint covers the metal well. I only have a weak magnet to hand, but it doesn't stick to the handle. As for the price - well I haven't looked for alternatives, but it does seem a bit on the steep side. If that is because it is of good material quality - then I guess it is worth the cost and will remain durable for many years.I am happy with this item and will be keeping it for as long as it lasts... and I expect that to be quite a long time due to the material quality.

So, this came in 5 pieces, with an overly large black fabric bag. The handle is 4 of the pieces, while the head is the 5th. Oddly, the bag seems big enough to store around 6-8 of these, so I don't understand their train of thought regarding that, but it does help to keep it all together. Honestly, you could likely add a small dustpan to the bag easily. The broom itself is sturdy once assembled, which takes only moments. The head is a soft and pliant rubber of sorts, and seems to attract and hold pet hair it comes across very nicely. It manages anything from powders, to larger dirt and hair, and easily tackles either. Love it!

This is a rubber broom with a rubber dustpan. It doesn't do anything that other brooms don't do.It is average. Not bad, not anything special. One thing I don't like is that the dustpan doesn't attach to broom. The metal handle does come in four sections, so I suppose there is an option to adjust the length if this is something you might find useful. It does have some static cling, so hairs get picked up rather easier than normal bristles. The dustpan has a rubber strip that makes it easy to brush things onto it.It is hard to identify anything else that stands out.

I put this thing to the test the day it arrived by giving Dad's hair a trim in the kitchen and sweeping that up. It did a WAY better job than a typical bristle-based broom, leaving no strays behind, and then having a flexible (and grippy, thanks to being rubber) dustpan made it SO much easier to scoop that all up.It assembles very easily, and you have the option to make a heck of a long handle, if you're so inclined. Can't say a bad thing about it, and I know I'll have to pull out the vacuum a lot less often now that this is on the task!

This rubber broom works very well. The flat, uniform length of all the brush bristles effectively trap animal hair, much more than our traditional broom. As well, it has a low profile, so it fits underneath tighter spaces. The metal handle can be changed to different lengths and the broom head can swivel,180 degrees. Definitely a plus for us, with a house full of pets and all their hair-glitter. The price is reasonable, comparable to regular brooms.

Tyroler Japanese Broom | 100% Silicone | 30cm Swiveling Head | 140cm Anti-Rust Handle | Dust-Catching System | Ideal for Hair & Lint. This silicon broom is well made with sturdy screw together metal handle pieces. The bristles and flat scraper are silicon and seem to be tough. The head swivels left and right and has a tilt that angles it slightly towards the back so that the flat edge is toward the user and the bristles are at the front away from the user. If you push the broom, the bristles make contact with the floor and the scraper follows. The scraper doesn't do much when used like that and the bristles don't seem to push much dirt, even on a flat surface. If you pull the broom towards you, the flat edge acts like a squeegee pulling dirt, with the bristles helping to get dirt that gets under the front piece. It works better like this than it does pushing the broom. I found that there was always a small amount of dirt that got left behind when using the broom. It needed several passes to clean the floor. This seems to act more like a small squeegee than a broom. It's ok for scraping thicker dirt off surfaces, but I don't feel it works well as a basic broom.

This broom makes an absolutely fantastic job at cleaning any hard flooring, but even though it says its also effective on carpets, I would have to disagree with that particular statement. As we have mainly wooden and hard tiled floors in our house, I found it really is superb for my floor types. It picks up fluff, pet hair, my long hair that seems to end up all over the place, every crumb in the kitchen, the tiniest specks of dust, cold ash from around the fire place, and even picked up minuscule particles of glitter that had fallen onto the floor from a greetings card. Any hairdressing salon owners out there, this if the best broom for you as well. The head of the broom is very slimline, and pivots, allowing it to reach into the tightest and smallest of spaces. The longer bristles on the edges splay out to reach right under and into crevices and edges of skirting boards and kitchen kickboards. There is a solid flexible rubber blade on one side of the broom, which catches anything that the bristles have missed, as you sweep. The black rubber doesnt leave any stains or marks either. Its so must faster to do a quick clean-up using this broom, without having to get the vacuum cleaner out. Its also really lightweight too.The only negative is the price. As good as this is, I dont know how the current price could ever be justified. Id happily pay up to around £20 or so maximum for this. For it to be worth more to me, it would need another handle for the rubber dustpan that comes with it, and maybe some sort of comfortable grip on the 4-part steel handle, neither of which this currently has.The dustpan is very flexible and bendy, which means unless you provide your own handle to use with this, you have to be flexible enough to be able to reach down to around ankle height, at which point the dustpan will bend enough to use it without you having to touch down to the floor. The tapered lip on the dustpan catches everything from your big fluff pile with ease. If you hold it over the bin to empty it, you can then rub the bristles over the edge of the dustpan, so that you dont have to pick out all the dust and dirt out with your fingers.Overall, very good for hard floors, but very expensive. It does look like it will last for many years though, and comes with a 2-year warranty.

This is a novel design for a broom. It has a narrower head than most brooms but is still effective at sweeping, due to a lip or border that catches all the bits that have been dislodged by the bristles. The handle is in sections, so you can have it long or short. If the latter, you can use the spare section to attach to the dustpan. The whole thing is robust and looks durable. You may not find this the best broom for all uses, but it is useful to have in your cleaning arsenal.

This is a great type of broom for places where you need to keep floors clean with the expected Japanese efficiency and quality. It feels strong in the hand and should last a very long time.

I was very excited to get this magic broom that is supposed to be better than any vacuum cleaner ¦..well the brush is innovative, I give it that! I have never seen a brush made entirely of rubber, although my old () broom has a similar rubber wall in the middle of its bristles. The brush is easy to manipulate around obstacles and furniture and it can even go under some things, because it is tiny. It does collect œsome hair and particles, but my carpet is a no go. My carpet downstairs where my large dog resides is a New Zealand wool carpet, it is quite thick and always it collects tones of my big dogs hairs. The broom didnt help much there.Where the broom excelled was to collect the kitty littler that my cat loves to throw out of its box(es) and all over the house. My vacuum doesnt always pick up all the litter particles, the rotary brush just makes them jump around. This Japanese broom is now my first step in cleaning, collecting the litter and the kibbles that seem to migrate all over the house. After that I have to come with the vacuum. So yes, this broom is special and I am sure that many will find it of great use. It might be only one step, rather than the only step in cleaning, for those with difficult pets . I still like it and I do recommend itThank you

This is not the cheapest of brooms by any means but it is good quality and works really well, You can tell it's posh when it comes in it's own bag lol , The tubes are screwed together in sections so you can make the handle any length you want which is good, The brush head really does smell of rubber but dissipates over time, The head pivots around to get in awkward places and looks solid enough so it shouldn't be a problem breaking, The brush does work really well picking up the smallest of bits and not leaving them in the bristles like normal brooms do. Overall it is a nice brush set just not cheap.

I've never owned a household broom that offers a 2 year warranty with registration. I've also never owned a broom that breaks down to fit in its own storage bag. I'm loving it.We are a multipet household. We have 3 dogs, 4 cats, snakes, and budgies (our budgies are pets, not snake food). We have water bowls and fountains in every room, hallway, and cage. Our floors regularly feature bird seed, feathers, kibble, kitty litter, substrate, actual dirt from paws and plants from repotting, spilled water, and of course fur. SO MUCH FUR. We regularly do a sweep before a good vacuum, and that's always been a tedious and icky chore. There always seem to be water somewhere on the floor due to sloppy drinkers and rigorous play. On a regular broom the water and fur and everything else stick to the bristles, with more gunk stuck to the broom than in the actual dust pan. We have to routinely stop and clean out the bristles as best we can, and I'm not gonna lie- its kinda gross to do.This broom has been a literal game changer for us. It attracts fur really well WITHOUT it sticking to the bristles- even when WET. We are free to just- sweep the floor. Through water, spills, kitty litter- it's amazing. It's cut our sweeping down to half the time, just because we don't have to stop every couple minutes to clean it. And when we're done, it just rinses clean in the sink or tub. The multiple handle segments make the height adjustable for people of varying height, or for various tasks. The dustpan is flexible, durable, and the edge fits right against the floor- collecting more dust and fur in one swipe. You can fit a pole in it so you don't have to bend at all. My sister appreciates this feature, as she has a bad back. It also easily rinses clean, and won't crack like the hard plastic ones do.In short, we love this product.

I certainly wouldn't say this is better than a vacuum cleaner it does do a good job though. Great for a quick clean of an area without getting the vacuum out.

Wonderful broom, I clean the showcase tracks with it, the only broom that really does the job.
