This is a Review of Tyroler Magnetic Window Cleaner Tool | The Silicone Glider R4 AFC Double-Sided Window Cleaner Tool Fits Windows 0.4-1.8 Thick | Magnet Window Cleaner | Magnetic Glass Cleaner | limpiador magneticoAt the time of Reviewing it Price is , 124.99going to start off the Magnets in this are very strong . this worked well for cleaning windows thou with a minor issue . if you dont have a way to get the outside piece outside this is kinda useless . i had a long pole and with some tape taped it so i could go inside and stick it together thur the glass then clean it . 2nd story windows that dont open. and also windows that are above ones that open .i do like that its adjustable the force via the Knobs , and it comes with a microfiber cloth . has a 10 foot lead fro the outside piece but it was too short for my needs . mine came abit banged up but the packaging saved it . it comes with 2 spacers to keep the 2 pieces apart in storage , if it didnt have it would be a pain to pull them apart .this would be great for anyone who can reach a lower part of windows but not the entire thing from the outside then clean from the inside while spraying cleaner outside and doing the same inside .I Do Recommend this Item

First off, take this with a grain of salt because it didnt work for me, but that doesnt mean it doesnt work. I ordered this product to clean our 3rd floor apartment windows for a move out inspection. This was a little too cumbersome to use by myself. The magnets are STRONG and I had a hard time getting them apart and was terrified about snapping them on my windows. It was too thick and didnt fit well between the window and the screen.Once I got it on, i was afraid it was going to fall 3 stories below. But, never m fear, I couldnt get it off the window. We didnt actually get much cleaning done, but I dont think it will be as helpful as i had hoped. Maybe Ill try it on our sliding door of our new place and see if that changes my mind.

I bought this tool for our second-story windows, and it really does solve the problem of cleaning both sides safely. The magnets are strong enough to hold through thicker glass, and the adjustable screw system makes a difference”you can fine-tune the strength so it glides smoothly instead of dragging. It took me a couple of tries to find the right setting, but once I did, it started cleaning evenly without slipping. The dual system works well: the silicone blades loosen dirt and grime, while the microfiber pads dry the glass without streaks. I noticed it cut down my cleaning time significantly compared to using a ladder and separate tools. The frame feels solid and heavy-duty, and I like that the silicone edges wont scratch the glass. That said, its not a œgrab and go cleaner”you need patience to learn how to control it, especially at first when aligning both sides. I also recommend spraying enough cleaner on the window so the glider doesnt stick. Once you get past the learning stage, though, it becomes much easier to use.

I had high hopes for this and while it works well to clean windows, I'm not sure it really saves much time over a squeegee and a bucket. It's easy enough to set up and use but the width of the cleaning path is more narrow than a squeegee, requiring more passes per window to get complete overage.Overall, it's a neat idea that will work well for people with windows that would be awkward to reach with a squeegee but I dont see the value for the cost being there for most people.

5/5 RatingAs soon as I saw this I thought how interesting. I've seen other products kinda similar but not exactly like this. There are windows in my place that I've never cleaned the outside because of the heights and position. This device will eliminate that for many windows. It's not hard to use, just take a little time to get used to. Once you get the hang it will be like second nature. I'm pleased with how it works and the results.

This window cleaner is such a clever tool! The quality feels solid, and the magnets are strong enough to hold securely on thicker glass. I like that it has adjustable control, which makes it easier to use without slipping. It does a great job reaching and cleaning both sides of the window at once ” a huge time saver. Definitely makes cleaning tall or hard-to-reach windows much easier!

I recently tried the Tyroler Magnetic Window Cleaner, and its been a game-changer for cleaning hard-to-reach windows. The double-sided design lets you clean both sides of the glass at once, which saves so much time and effort.I love that it has adjustable control, so you can customize the pressure depending on the thickness of your window (it fits 0.4“1.8 thick windows). The silicone glider moves smoothly without scratching, and it actually makes the whole cleaning process feel kind of satisfying rather than frustrating. Its especially handy for second-story or large windows, where getting to the outside pane is usually a hassle. My windows look streak-free, and I didnt have to climb a ladder or juggle multiple tools. Its a practical, easy-to-use tool that makes cleaning windows less of a chore. Definitely worth it if you want sparkling windows with minimal effort.

We have a lot of windows in our home, and this Tyroler Window Cleaning Tool really comes in handy for windows in more inconvenient areas. It is a bit tricky to use with getting them on each side of the window, but this tool leaves a nice, clean, streak-free shine. Kind of like a squeegee. It definitely saves time being able to clean both sides of a window at the same time. It works well but just has a learning curve. It is very nice quality. Overall, this is a great product to have for around the house, especially if have a lot of windows like us.

I really wanted this to work, but it wasnt as simple as I expected. The magnets are super strong (which is great), but that also made it hard to control smoothly. It kept slipping or missing spots, especially around the edges. I had high hopes for cleaning both sides without the risk, but I ended up frustrated and doing touch-ups by hand. Might work better on different windows, but it didnt go as smoothly for me.

These magnets are crazy strong. That is a good thing I suppose for this. But also it really makes you worry that you're going to break your windows which you really don't want to do. There's also quite a bit of a learning curve to get the hang of these. It's not easy despite reading the instructions and watching some videos online. They do work but I don't know if I can use them long-term with how anxious I get that I might break something. It doesn't do super great in the corners or around the edges unfortunately so I kind of had to touch up those areas myself afterward. I don't know. It seems expensive for how worrisome it is to use and to have to do the cleanup on the edges after.

very good to have if you live on higher floors. it easily goes on the windows despite its heavy feel. at first I thought it would shatter my windows but it magnetizes so gently, I was nervous for nothing. super easy to use and clean. fun way to get the kids involved. great sensory item. isn't the most pleasant to look at and is bulky but works like a charm.

This is good for hard to reach outside windows. My mother lives in an apartment building with crank windows, so it is pretty impossible to clean those windows without a device like this. It's not the easiest to use but it's effective. The magnets are very strong, so you have to be careful! If you have fold in double hung windows, I'd just keep cleaning those windows the traditional way as using this is more cumbersome. This is kind of expensive for what it is, but this works for those hard to reach windows.

Let me start by saying, I absolutely detest cleaning windows. So when I came across the Tyroler Magnetic Window Cleaner, I knew it was something I needed in my space. Its not just a gimmick, it works, and once you get the hang of it, its actually kind of satisfying. The setup requires you to attach one part of the tool outside and the other inside, with the glass in between. The magnets are strong and adjustable thanks to the AFC (Adjustable Force Control) system, which is super important. If its too loose, it wont clean effectively, and if its too tight, it wont glide properly. Once you find the right setting for your window thickness, it glides smoothly and does a great job cutting through grime with the silicone blades while the microfiber pads leave the glass shiny and streak-free.Its built tough, steel frame, soft silicone edges that protect the glass, and no flimsy plastic parts. The design feels thoughtfully engineered and safe for repeated use.At around 125, it may seem pricey at first, but considering the time and effort it saves (especially on those hard-to-reach outside windows), I think its a fair price for what it does. Its definitely made housework feel a lot less burdensome for me.

Under just the right circumstances this could be useful. It does work but there are several caveats. Its way too expensive. The magnets are so powerful that if youre not careful you can crack a double pane insulated window. Its virtually impossible to clean corners. Its possible but way too much trouble to use it on individual panes of a divided window. You must have someway or someone to hold the outside piece in place while you connect them. This didnt happen to me but I strongly suspect these magnets would wipe out any credit card or old magnetic tape they came close to.Now the good stuff.Theyre great for big truck, tractor, heavy equipment, and such, glass. Something that is heavy glass and has an edge where one person can reach the inside and the outside at the same time. I can see it being really useful on a big enclosed tractor working in a dusty field. Something where the fine detailing, edges and corners, isnt necessary and has heavy enough glass that can withstand the hit if you accidentally slip when trying to connect them. This isnt a joke, these are very strong magnets. I can also see them being useful on a building with lots of big glass that is easily accessible on both sides.Im going to keep them and use them on my big Dodge 3500 for a while. I may end up giving them to my buddy whose family has two big farms. They have several big enclosed bulldozers and tractors. Im sure he would love to have it. Or, I might use one side to go magnet fishing. Im certain these babies would hold as much weight as Im capable of hauling up.The main deterrent to a buy recommendation is the price. However, Im not familiar with the cost of magnets so if strength correlates to price these could be reasonable.

I thought when I ordered this window cleaner that it would solve a lot of problems for me reaching windows that I can't get to easily. One is a large picture window and the others are regular tilt outs, the problem with the tilt outs being that I can't get get to the top pane without taking out the screen. I may be able to put the top pane down enough to squeeze the outside part of the cleaning tool. Unfortunately, there's no way to really get the window wet and actually clean it.Really what this seems to be is a squeegee that will clean off the soapy water after it's washed. So you really kind of need to wash the window first, or at least get it wet with some kind of window cleaner. And if you can't reach the window well enough to clean it then it stands to reason you'd have a hard time covering it evenly with window cleaner.I think maybe I will use this after a heavy rain the way I use a regular squeegee on the picture window. Maybe on the other windows I can wet them with a hose first though It's going to be a little complicated running in and out of the house doing multiple windows. So I don't know. I think what's missing is a sponge that could hold some liquid that could actually wash the window first, then remove that and replace with the squeegee. So it's a nice product but not as good as it could be.

As I dwell in an apt house, cleaning the outer side of my windows has not been something that was ever easy and safe. Until I tried The Glider, I was used to seeing the world behind a coating of dirt. This magnetic window cleaner is a revelation of how a renter should be able to clean windows just like what a homeowner can do.The arrangements are genius pure and simple These are the most powerful magnets, and the force control option is just amazing, as it is adjustable to make this work so great. I could use the correct magnetic poundage to clip onto my window of 1 inch thick, this made sure that my connection was stable but not to an extent that I would have not been able to move freely. It was a little frightening at first but the safety string makes you feel safe and the tool glides well along the glass.Cleaning performance is out of this world Both silicone squeegee edges clean the glass, leaving a clean, shiny, and streak- free finish. With one stroke of the glass I washed the inside and outside of the windows, and with one swish of the glass cleaning cloth wiped them dry to a shine. It is a very gratifying experience to see the external grime wash away confined safely at the comfort of home.It is an essential tool to people that have windows that are hard to reach be it in a high-rise building, a house in the second floor, or in any location that makes it easy to clean the outside. It is durable, very safe to operate, and it produces the professional result. This I could not praise too highly!

I didn't expect this to be a professional level tool, but I'm now leaning towards being wrong about that. The construction on this is incredibly solid, and it's got some weight to it so bear that in mind. It's relatively easy to set up and use. The magnets are super powerful and adjustable, so I was able to find the perfect setting for them to work well for me after fiddling with it a little. It's taking me some time to get used to using this, though. I'm not getting into corners as well as I'd like to, but I guess there's a bit of a learning curve to it. It does do an amazing job though, and it looks like it's built to last.

I have upstairs extra wide windows which is why I'd hoped this window cleaning tool would be the solution, but it turns out not to be. The problem is that the width of my window is too much to effectively move this along the entire pane of glass, and the end result doesn't reach the corners. The magnets are so strong I'm afraid that I will drop it or damage my windows. It almost works, but not quite well enough for my windows.

Do these clean windows? Yes. Will you have a panic attack every time you use them? Perhaps. These things are seriously strong magnets. I honestly don't understand why they need to be so strong. It's a window, not a reinforced steel bunker. If you're like me, you have virtually no idea what the depth of your windows is, so providing measurements for the product and telling the customer to make sure they are using it only on the correct size window seems like an obvious ploy to avoid liability when (not if, when) someone inevitably shatters a window in their home because the magnets snap together with the force of one thousand angry gods.As others have mentioned, this tool can provide a beautiful streak-free shine, but only partially. Even with these rare earth super-magnets mined from what I assume is the seventh layer of the inferno, the pressure is ever so slightly uneven across the length of the device, meaning the the corners of the window and even the edges receive less pressure than the rest of the areas, and debris tends to pool there. If you're brave enough to risk your windows then I think this device probably works well, but if you're not then I'd say the ease of use if very low.

I hate cleaning windows. They never seem to get properly clean on the outside, for a start, plus most windows arent exactly in a position where reaching the outside part is even possible. Tyrolers magnetic cleaners are a genius-level invention which have been knocking around for a few years and which Ive only got around to trying out relatively recently. The idea is simple at its heart but very clever all the same. Two squeegee-like pieces are held on both the outside and inside of a window at the same time, using two very strong magnets at the ends of each piece. You can adjust the distance between the magnets to change how strongly theyll be attracted to each other (depending on whether the glass is single- or double-glazed, for example), which in turn affects how hard or easy it is to move the window cleaner around (this is done by holding both knobs and guiding the device over a window which has been sprayed with cleaning solution) - it takes a bit of trial and error to get it set just right, because you dont want the things gripping together so tightly that you cant move it around, but you dont want it so loose that it skips all over the place and doesnt move smoothly. You also need to apply an even force with both hands as you pull on the knobs, to move it as smoothly as possible. The best approach is to get the window pretty wet on both sides (squeegees and dry glass are not friends) with your cleaning solution, then start at the top and guide the cleaner from top to bottom in a slow, steady S-shaped pattern. This model is designed to handle thicker panes, from a minimum of 0.4 up to a maximum of 1.8 thick. This means its not going to handle single-glazed windows well (unless theyre pretty thick ones, I guess) and you might be frustrated if you try. But this model does excel when it comes to double-glazed panes. When you get it just right, this window cleaner does an amazing job, and doesnt leave a single streak. But it can be a little frustrating trying to get that sweet spot; theres a little bit of a learning curve. The cleaner also comes with two cloths which can be attached over each of the squeegee pieces using velcro tabs, to buff or dry off the window on both sides at once. Ive found that the cloths mostly arent needed so far, but theyre a good addition. The part of the cleaner that goes on the outside of the window is attached to a long piece of string with a ring on the other end. Putting the ring over a finger lets you keep hold of the outside piece even if you accidentally loosen the magnets too far or drop it; even if it does fall, the Tyroler cleaner is encased in silicone which helps protect it in case of a fall.Like I said, theres a bit of a learning curve, and these window cleaners are not exactly cheap, but theyre definitely the least frustrating and most effective way to clean windows that I know of.

I had high hopes for this, as I can reach the bottom panes of my windows from the ground outside, but not the uppers. I thought with this, I can clean the outside from the inside by myself. It did not quite work out that way. It really took two people to do it, and even then the corners were still dirty, and the outside looked like dirt smeared in a figure 8 pattern. If you ever had a fish tank magnetic cleaner, this operates on the same principle, but with much, much stronger and scarier magnets. The magnets are so strong, I really worried about breaking my old windows. You need access to both sides of your windows from either opening your window and lean outside to attach each piece to the outside and inside pane, or have a second person outside to attach the other magnet. It does have a safety string, so if you break the magnetic attraction and the outside piece falls off, you can still retrieve it. I found it really difficult to get a good clean on the corners and along the sash. For example, I have double hung windows, so there is spot in the middle of the window for the latch, so that latch area cant be cleaned on the outside window. It was a pain to try to hang out my window to attach it to the top pane, it drug dirt around from the corners outside, and it was honestly not the time saver I had hoped. What this might be good for, is a big sliding glass door, where its one solid, large pane, and easy to attach both sides at once.

Its a good thing we dont clean our windows more often. Im exhausted. In fact, if it werent for the Tyroler, I probably wouldnt have done anything. However, my reason for getting it was the transom over our patio doors. Usually, I need the ladder outside and then lug it inside and then repeat for the final cleanup. So the magnetic window tool appealed to me immediately. Get inside and outside at once. Now when I say magnetic, believe me, these are incredibly strong magnets, and you could get hurt if your finger gets in the way of them closing. There is a screw for moving one pair of magnets further to lessen the pull, but I would prefer a little more distance when not cleaning. There are 3 different model strengths to choose from, each with a different strength of magnetic pull. You would measure the distance between the sealed inner and outer glass of your window, and the larger the gap, the stronger the magnets youll want. Its not clear to me how you would know that gap just by looking, but I seem to have the strongest.Wet the glass on both sides, hold one half of the tool on the inside, and slowly move the outside half toward the glass. I would start with the screws all the way out for the least attraction. Tighten as needed, but the tighter the pull, youll struggle moving the cleaner. I didnt put the ring on my finger. At first, its just the silicon against the glass which will cause streaks, but after that, attach the microfiber cloth and wet it.I got pretty good results on my first attempt, and I think with practice, the Tyroler Magnetic Window Cleaner Tool can be a great addition to my not-very-often window cleaning. Its pricey for what it does, but it does it well.

This magnetic window cleaner is a total game-changer! The double-sided silicone glider cleans both sides of the window at once, saving me so much time and hassle. It fits windows 0.4 to 1.8 thick perfectly, and the adjustable control gives me great precision. The magnets hold strong without slipping, and the cleaning is streak-free every time. It makes cleaning hard-to-reach outside windows super easy and safe.Highly recommend for anyone wanting a fast and efficient window cleaning solution!

The idea of this product is really genius. Use magnets to attach on both sides of hard to reach windows to clean them. Sounds great! But actual usage is more challenging. First, the magnets are so strong. I don't know and don't even know how I'd measure the thickness of my windows so it's hard to know where to start other than the loosest because you don't want the magnets to snap together and break your window! But you don't want them too loose or it slides around too easily or too tight because it's hard to move it.If you're able to figure it out, then comes trying to use it. You're supposed to wet up the window first with cleaning solution. Well the whole reason of trying this is I can't really get to these windows. I was thinking you'd wet up the cloth on this and then push it around but this winds up acting more like a squeegee so if the window isn't wet it just kind of scrapes along but doesn't clean. Finally, if you manage to get it wet enough to clean anything, you may clean the middle but the corners are hard.Just like anything, I think this would get easier with practice but being as though I don't really wash my windows that much, I don't see myself getting tons of practice.

I hate washing windows, and a lot of mine are hard to get to from the outside, so this appealed to me instantly. The magnets are incredibly strong, and although I had wondered, I knew there would be no problem with them losing connectivity during use. Moving them is another issue. It really does take practice, and if you are young and strong, that probably helps too. I didn't get a perfect job, but I didn't really expect to, although I think with practice, it would be easy to do very well. I think this is a professional grade tool, and I'm not a professional. I'm very happy with this though, and it has done as well as it could with the operator it has (me).

At first it was cumbersome for me and I didn't catch how simple it could be! The moment I continued working with it - it totally does the job. One point that's mandatory to pay attention to - the glider cord that's supposed to be connected to the finger ring - comes loose easily and it's life-threatening for those who live in a building. So it's mandatory to tie it several times and strengthen the knot each time.
