Tips For Using A Floor Squeegee Around The House

Clean floor

You think this is an obvious one. But what if we told you four tips that will take your squeegee cleaning one level up? 

The first tip is really related to the cleaning solution you use with a squeegee. It pays to pick the one that is designed for streak-free cleaning with a squeegee as there are different types. The streak-free ones tend to do a cleaner job. It will do a much better job if you have a shiny floor finish.

Our second tip: Sweep first.

You can use a floor squeegee to clean glass surfaces in your house. After all, a squeegee was designed for cleaning flat surfaces – no matter floor or windows – and it does its job splendidly. It leaves streak-free, shiny glass, while messy cloths can leave behind smudges, streaks, or even pieces of material. When using your floor squeegee on windows and mirrors, make sure to fold the handle or use a short one no to wreck chaos in your house.

Clean shower walls and door

Everybody knows water in modern cities and towns is hard. This leads to stains on bathroom walls and doors that are hard to remove once they settle in. Another option is to use a long-handled floor squeegee to wipe down the walls. Simply use the squeegee as you would use it to wipe down the floor to remove any excess water. Use the same technique to get the excess water off the shower doors.
